I’ve been making the trip to this place off and on for ages. Never once had a particularly good experience, and today didn’t change that. Tried to get someone to help pull an engine and transmission off my trailer, but they just told me to roll it off myself. Never heard that before. Finally broke down and left a review because of it. Wouldn’t bother coming back. Drive up to FMS in Amazonia instead—they’re far more helpful and clean, and actually buy more types of parts.

I was standing by the scale when they told me to pull forward past some concrete blocks. I took three steps and then moved right to check the display, trying to subtract what they’d written on the cart’s sticker from the weight. That’s when the guy shifted the screen so I couldn’t see it anymore. Turned out I was shorted by fifty pounds on aluminum cans, the machine had backed up, and they missed two aluminum radiators—one at 123 pounds, the other around 40. Total short was 163 pounds, which added up to about $116.70. On the bright side, they did help unload my trailer right away. Friendly enough, but I get it—they’ve got work to do. Still, I can only give one star because they left me out almost a hundred and fifteen bucks.

Emily at the front desk is the real reason I keep coming back. She’s got this way of making you feel like you’re not just another customer—more like a friend stopping by. The second you walk in, she’s already smiling, asking how your day’s going, and actually listening to the answer. I don’t know how she does it, but she turns what could be a quick, boring transaction into something way more pleasant. Keep being you, Emily—you’re the best part of this place.

Look, I get it—every business has to make money to stay open, and Advantage is no different. But they’ve always been decent to me, so I don’t have a problem with that. Last week, though, their computer system crashed, and I unloaded a bunch of cars. They told me I’d get paid this week, but now no one can even tell me what happened to the cars I sold. Every time I call, I get the same runaround. It’s frustrating, to say the least. ---

Dumping my scrap cans there was a breeze. No hassle, no attitude—just a smooth, easy process. Wish more places were this straightforward. ---

The guys at this place? Solid. They’re always friendly, never make you feel like you’re wasting their time, and they move fast—you’re in and out before you know it. Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without them. Shoutout to everyone who works there. ---

This junkyard’s alright. Most of the time, you’re in and out quick, no fuss. But there’s a weird thing about the workers here—took me a while to figure it out. First few times I came, I thought, *Screw these guys, they’re rude*, and I almost stopped going. Turns out, they’re not like that at all. Once you’ve been around a few times, they actually talk to you, joke around, the whole vibe changes. Now I don’t even think twice about coming back.
