I called ahead, told them exactly what I had, and they quoted me a price over the phone. When I showed up, they acted like they’d never heard of me. The guy kept pushing me to unload in the back while I was still trying to confirm the deal. Then they handed me off to someone who barely spoke English—no way to ask questions, just “unload and move.” After I did all the work, they paid me half of what they’d promised. When I called them out, they just shrugged like I was making it up. Absolute scam. Wouldn’t trust these people with a dime. ---

Used to be a decent place, but something’s gone wrong. Took in a big load—heavy stuff, a huge aluminum piece—and they lowballed us hard, saying they’d pay steel prices. Then they made us haul it to different spots, unload it ourselves, and even put some back on the trailer. Didn’t pay for half of what we brought. Told us to “donate” the rest. We’ve been here before, got three times the money for smaller loads. Now? Just a mess. Wouldn’t go back. ---

Drove 30 miles with a full trailer, thinking I’d at least break even on scrap. They took one look at my aluminum and called it “dirty,” then paid me steel prices. Had to unload most of it myself while they stood there. Ended up with $113 for a day’s work—pathetic. And the attitude? Like we were wasting their time. Went to three other places after just to get a fair deal. Wouldn’t bother again. ---

Walked in, and not a single person acknowledged me. No “hello,” no “how can I help?” Just glares and side-eye. A supervisor nearly bowled me over at the door and didn’t even bother with an “excuse me.” The whole place had the energy of a funeral home. Wouldn’t wish that kind of rudeness on anyone.

Ramone’s the guy to talk to if you’ve got scrap. My parents have been selling to him for years, and he’s always fair. Took in some copper and aluminum from an old camper, and he gave us a solid price. Easy transaction, no hassle. If you’ve got metal to sell, this is the place. ---
