I called to ask about copper prices and they told me I can't sell copper unless I'm a business with proof the wire's mine. Weird, 'cause I've sold copper there before with no problem. Gonna take my scrap elsewhere this time.

The Google Maps pin was way off. It kept saying I'd arrived in the middle of a block with nothing but a chain-link fence—no business entrance anywhere. I drove around Broadway once more, and there it was, smack in the middle of the next block over. Super easy drop-off, I didn't even have to step out of the truck. The folks there were nice too.

I stopped by to drop off some battery cores, first time visiting so I was a bit turned around. They had me park in back to unload, but then directed me up front—they didn't mention whether to walk or drive. On my way back through the lot to pull out, someone shouted that it's one-way and I needed to circle around to the front. A sign or two wouldn't have hurt. Payment was quick and I was out fast. Only downside was the confusion for first-timers.

We weren’t being rude—just asking questions—but some guy told us to leave and never come back. Like, what? We’re veterans, and this is how they treat people? Don’t bother with this place. ---

I dropped off a big load of copper on Saturday—December 6th, actually—and the total came out to $1800. Fast forward to Monday, I tried cashing their check at Wells Fargo late in the day, and it bounced. Turns out, I wasn’t the only one calling about this. I’ve been bringing my scrap here for years without a single issue, but after this? I’m calling Carlos first thing tomorrow. If I don’t get my money, I’m done with this place for good. ---

Carlos and his crew were super friendly, helped me unload the water heaters, and sorted through all my copper, aluminum, and brass without a hitch. Prices were more than fair. They’ve become my regular spot for any recycling I need going forward.

Carlos and his crew didn’t just take my water heaters—they helped unload them, then sorted through all the copper, aluminum, brass, and whatever else I had. And the prices? Way better than I expected. At this point, they’re the only place I’ll go for recycling. ---

If you’re new to selling scrap, they’ll walk you through it. Fast, no hassle, and they actually help you sort your stuff. ---

The forklift guy backed the dumpster right into my tailgate—my freshly painted classic F-250 tailgate. Then he lifted the whole thing with me still standing there, scratching it up in multiple spots. When I said something, he just shrugged and said, *"What do you want me to do about it?"* The manager never even showed up, just called later to say there’s no proof and it must’ve been me who did the damage. Don’t bring anything you care about here—these people can’t be trusted with machinery.
