Negative experiences

Dropped nearly three grand on an engine with a six-month warranty, but when I tried to get it fixed, no one would even call me back. Money down the drain—don’t bother with this place.

A total rip-off, plain and simple. I put down a grand as a deposit to hold an engine, they said it’d be ready the next day. I showed up Wednesday with the cash, they had no idea where it was. They told me to come back Monday. Monday came, still nothing, so they said Wednesday for sure. I came back today—Wednesday—and some guy just shrugs and says someone else bought it this morning. A week of waiting, and that engine got sold out from under me. Waste of time and money—scam through and through.

Giving them three stars is being nice. Sometimes they’ve got a decent deal, but don’t expect it to go smoothly. Half the time, it’s the same old junkyard runaround—“Yeah, we’ve got it,” then you show up and they’re still digging through a pile of cars to see if it’s even there. I’ve been chasing an alternator for a week now. Called ahead to confirm it was ready, drove all the way out there, and now I’m stuck waiting while they scramble to get it. Meanwhile, I could’ve had it from eBay by now. I’ll still use them, but only when I’ve got no other choice—and even then, I’m crossing my fingers I don’t waste another afternoon. ---

First off, thank God for this place—it’s saved me more than once. The guys here don’t just sell you a part and send you on your way. They actually *listen*. I needed a part, and when I mentioned the price elsewhere, instead of just pointing me to the door, they went above and beyond. Not only did they match the price, but they threw in the install too—no asking, no hesitation. Irvin and Sam? Absolute gems. Kind, patient, and willing to help in ways most places wouldn’t dream of. If you’re in a bind, this is the spot. ---

Needed a fuel pump, and Irvin made it easy. Part was ready when I got there, in good shape, and worked perfectly in my car. He didn’t just hand it over—he made sure I knew I could come back if I needed anything else. No hassle, no runaround. Just a straightforward, helpful experience. If you’re looking for a place that actually delivers, this is it.

Running a repair shop in Phoenix means I’m always hunting for good parts at fair prices—and this junkyard is the only place I keep coming back to. The quality’s solid, the prices are right, and honestly, I’ve never even had to use their warranty because everything holds up. My customers notice the difference, and that’s what matters. If you’re looking for someone who’ll treat you fair and get you what you need, just ask for Irvin. He’s the guy who’ll make sure you leave happy. ---

Do *not* trust this place. I bought an engine here, and it was worse than the one I took out of my truck. When I tried to get my money back, they refused—said they’d “fix it” instead, like that’s supposed to make it better. I even offered to return the broken engine, but no luck. They’ve given refunds to other people, just not me. Avoid at all costs. The parts are junk, the service is terrible, and they’ll leave you stranded. Learn from my mistake. ---
