Look, I get it—this place is a scrap yard, not a luxury auto shop. But if you’re gonna answer the phone, at least know what your business actually does. The guy I talked to had no clue what they buy or don’t buy, and that’s a problem. A little basic customer service wouldn’t kill anyone. If he’d just asked, *“How can I help you?”* instead of assuming, my $500 cylinder head wouldn’t be trashed right now. I called ahead, asked if they bought good cylinder heads, and was told yes. So I brought mine in—clean, in a trash bag to keep it that way—only for some guy to yank it out, toss it on the ground like garbage, and then act like I was the one being difficult. No warning, no questions, just *thud*. Then he plopped it on the scale, said it was worth $4, and walked off like I was wasting his time. I didn’t even get a chance to explain anything. Now the part’s ruined, I’m out $500, and I feel like I got robbed. And the worst part? The person who answered the phone clearly had no idea what they were talking about. If you don’t buy good parts, don’t tell people you do. This is the first and last time I’ll ever set foot in this place. Absolute waste of time and money. ---

Honestly, this was one of the smoother scrap yard experiences I’ve had. The guys working there were actually polite—no attitude, no rushing me out the door. First time back in years, and it went way better than I expected. Definitely gonna bring more scrap metal here next time. ---

Not gonna lie, most scrap yards treat you like you’re wasting their time. But these guys? Actually listened, answered my questions, and didn’t lowball me. Made the whole thing simple, which is more than I can say for half the other places I’ve tried. ---

Been going to this place since I was a kid—it’s one of those spots that just *stays*. Never had to wait long for the trailer weigh-in, and they don’t mess around with the numbers. Fair’s fair, and that’s all I ask. ---

Showed up with a truck full of scrap, walked out with cash. That’s the kind of place this is—no drama, no surprises. Every time I go, it’s the same: easy, fast, and no headaches. ---

Ordered aluminum wheels by the pound—website said $0.70, but the scale showed $0.55. Then I brought in two and a half five-gallon buckets of bright copper, all 31 pounds total, and they paid $3.40 a pound. Oh, and their site *swears* they take Cadillac converters? Tried it. Nope. Don’t. ---

Bud and his crew don’t just do the job—they make it *fun*. You can tell they actually like what they do, and it shows. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
