Overview

Central Florida Auto Salvage at 39850 Co Rd 54, Zephyrhills, FL 33542

Central Florida Auto Salvage is a family-run self-service auto salvage yard at 39850 County Road 54 in Zephyrhills. They stock used auto parts for domestic and foreign vehicles. Customers search for parts themselves, remove what they need, and pay by weight. The yard doesn’t offer part removal help, so visitors should bring their own tools.

Services & What to Expect

This is a self-service salvage yard, meaning you handle finding and removing parts on your own. The yard doesn’t assist with part removal, so you’ll need to bring the right tools. Parts come from cars and trucks, and pricing is based on weight per pound.

How Self-Service Works

  • Browse the yard: Vehicles are grouped by make and model, but you may need to search for exact parts.
  • Remove parts: Once you find what you need, take it out yourself using your tools.
  • Weigh and pay: Parts are weighed, and you pay based on total weight.
  • Bring tools: Wrenches, sockets, and pry bars are essential. A truck or trailer helps for larger parts.

What to Bring

  • Tools for part removal (wrenches, sockets, pry bars)
  • Gloves and safety gear (the yard can be dusty with sharp metal)
  • A vehicle to haul parts (some are heavy or bulky)
  • Cash or accepted payment (check their website for details)
  • Part numbers or vehicle info (if you know what you need)

Vehicle Inventory

The yard carries parts from American, Japanese, and European vehicles, including:

  • Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and other U.S. brands
  • Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and other Japanese cars
  • BMW, Mercedes, and Volkswagen
Inventory changes often, so call ahead or check their website for updates.

Selling a Junk Car

If you have an old car to sell, Central Florida Auto Salvage may buy it for parts. Many salvage yards do, but check their website or call for details. For verified junk car buyers in Zephyrhills, visit our cash for junk cars page.

Location & Hours

Central Florida Auto Salvage is at 39850 County Road 54, Zephyrhills, FL 33542. It’s in a rural area, so GPS helps with directions. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time). The yard is closed weekends and holidays.

Directions

From Zephyrhills, take County Road 54 west. The yard is marked near the entrance. Parking is on-site, but the road has little lighting at night—visit during the day if possible.

This wrecking yard makes it easy. They sent the part fast and it was exactly as described. Nice work between yards—keep it up. All good.

I ordered a 2.5L BMW engine from them. When it arrived I noticed the hoses hadn’t been removed cleanly—they were just cut—and so were the sensor and fuel rail harnesses. On a BMW I expect the full wiring harness with the plug ends to come with the motor. Seems like a sloppy way to run things.

I can’t say enough good things about them. I was hunting online for a tricky-to-find part and their listing popped up, so I gave them a call. Bryan checked it right away, gave me a totally fair price for the part and shipping, and even texted pictures so I knew it was the piece I needed. They shipped it the same day too. Small order or not, they treated me like a regular. I’ll definitely be back.

They had the part I needed. The guy actually walked over and double-checked it himself before carefully taking it off. The price was way lower than what I saw on eBay or other places, and nobody else even stocked what I was after.

I spent weeks hunting for lower control arms for my car, and let me tell you, it’s not easy. Then I stumbled on this place, and wow—what a difference. The people here are solid, no nonsense, and actually know what they’re doing. I’ll definitely be back, and if you’re in the same boat, skip the rest and just go here.

Ken, the owner, went above and beyond to help me get what I needed for my car. No pushy sales, no nonsense—just straight-up good service. If you’re in the market for parts, this is the place to go. Seriously, don’t waste your time elsewhere.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect walking into a junkyard for the first time, but it turned out way better than I thought. My grandson’s about to get his license, and we’re fixing up his grandpa’s old 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport—needed a bed, tailgate, lights, and bumper. These guys had *everything* I was looking for, and at prices that didn’t make me want to cry. The parts were ready fast, no hassle, and picking them up was smooth. If you’re in the market for parts, give them a shot—you won’t regret it.

You can usually find what you need here, and that’s saying something. No drama, no runaround—just parts at fair prices. If you’re in a pinch, give them a try.

I’ll admit, I was bracing myself for the usual junkyard experience—you know, the kind where the staff acts like they’re doing you a favor just by existing. But these guys? Completely blew that expectation out of the water. The service was fast, the guys were friendly and actually *knew* their stuff, and the prices? Unreal. I drove an hour just to get here, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for parts, don’t overthink it—just go.
