This place has been around forever—back when I was a kid, it was still family-run with the owner’s house right next to the yard. They’ve always been good people, fair with prices, and usually have the parts I need. If they don’t, they’ll call around or let me know if something comes in later. A few years back, they were short-staffed, and a couple of new guys were still figuring things out, so there were some mix-ups and delays. That might explain why some folks left lower ratings back then, but honestly, that kind of thing happens everywhere when a business is understaffed. I’ve never had an issue here, though. They’ve helped me find parts for old cars and big trucks that are nearly impossible to track down without driving halfway across the state. I’ll keep coming back.

Honestly, we just stopped by for a tire and a couple parts, but CJ and Chris ended up saving our whole day. They didn’t just sell us the tire—they noticed our fender was bent and walked us through how to fix it. Even lent us a tool so we could pop our door open again. The whole time, they were just *that* kind of energy—like nothing’s a big deal, just roll with it and get it done. By the time we left, our car was actually usable again, not just patched up enough to drive. And we walked in expecting to just grab a tire. I don’t say this lightly, but that’s the kind of place that makes you want to tell everyone about it. ---

Skip this place. I spent an hour wandering around after some guy sent me on a wild goose chase, and when I finally found the part I needed, the woman at the counter acted like I was wasting her time. Asked her the price, and she quoted me double what Frank’s in Fort Dodge charges. Told her I’d just go there instead, and she flipped—like, immediately. Then I asked about another part I’d found, and she straight-up said *nope*. Not “we don’t have it,” not “sorry, that’s not available”—just *nope*, like I was annoying her. Asked again, and she yelled it at me. Two hours of my life, gone. If you enjoy feeling like dirt, sure, go ahead. ---

Called, they said they had my part, so I drove an hour to check it out. Got there, and suddenly they didn’t have it *and* wouldn’t let me look around the yard. An hour down, nothing to show for it. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone—unless you enjoy wasting time and gas for no reason.

Ordered a transmission here weeks back. They took my money—over a grand—right away, but I still don’t have a shipping update or even a receipt. Every time I call, it’s a different person, and none of them know what the others have done. It’s like talking to a wall. “Chris will call you back” is all I hear, and it’s been radio silence. At this point, it’s not just bad service—it’s straight-up shady. Wouldn’t trust them with a five-dollar part, let alone a thousand bucks. ---

Don’t bother with these people. Called ahead, agreed on a price, and when my driver showed up—who doesn’t speak English—they took one look at him and decided to screw him over. Refused to let him pay online, then lied about the price when he handed over cash. Saw an easy target and went for it. It’s one thing to be a bad business, but this? This is just low. Wouldn’t wish them on my worst enemy. ---
