Best junkyard in eastern Virginia, no question. The women at the counter are super helpful and know their way around the yard. Everything’s numbered and organized so you can zero in on the car you need. Plus, they’ve got a zero-theft policy, so prices stay low and we all save a little cash.

I keep coming back to Foss U-Pull-It and I always leave happy. Heather’s great—kind, professional, great at keeping customers in the loop. The office team deserves a shout out too. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who came to tow my car this round, but he remembered me from last time and was quick and courteous. Really efficient, which I appreciate since I’m always running in a million directions. For anyone short on time, this place makes the whole process simple and I’ll definitely recommend them again.

This place is breathing new life into the junkyard scene. The staff knows their stuff, treats you right, and prices are spot-on. Honestly the hardest choice you’ll face is picking between the friendly service and the unbeatable prices. It’s just that good—already my top pick. —Sean

First time stepping into an auto yard in ages and wow, Heather and Ms. Stephanie (and that awesome purple hair!) made it great. Most salvage yards have crews who don’t lift a finger, but these two actually helped me track down the exact part I needed. The yard’s set up so everything’s easy to find, clean and orderly too. Couldn’t believe how smooth the whole thing went—10 out of 10, and I’ll send anyone looking for parts their way.

I can’t sing this place’s praises enough. I’ve only been twice, but both times were way better than most junkyards I’ve dealt with. The yard’s kept up nicely, the office is clean, and every person I talked to actually acted like they wanted to help—not just going through the motions. Yesterday sealed the deal for me. I needed one specific part and they only had it in one car. I couldn’t reach it because of how it was positioned on the stands. When I mentioned it to the front desk lady, she just said, “We can probably move it around—want us to try?” Zero fuss, zero attitude, just a straight-up willingness to help. Turns out they couldn’t budge it due to space, so my husband and I started heading out to try elsewhere. Then the Director offered to just hand over the part for free if we could wait two weeks. I wasn’t about to take charity, so we told him we’re moving out of state in two days. He apologized for the hassle and we kept walking. Then—out of nowhere—he sprinted after us and said, “Just got another one come in, pulling that part for you right now.” That kind of effort? I’ve never seen anything like it around here. If we weren’t relocating across the country, this would absolutely be my first stop every time. They earned that business without a doubt.

Honestly didn’t expect much from a junkyard, but this place in Chesapeake surprised me. I’ve been going to Pick n Pull in Virginia Beach for years, but this one’s way nicer—cleaner, better organized, even the office looks like someone actually cares. The staff was friendly too, which is more than I can say for some places. Might as well switch my usual spot here, especially since I won’t have to deal with those F-18s screaming overhead every five minutes.

Never been to a junkyard before, but the two ladies at the front desk made it easy. The whole place was actually really clean and well set up—way better than I thought it’d be. Didn’t find the exact part I was looking for, but I did grab something else I needed. Definitely coming back next time.

Honestly, this place saved me. The staff was so nice—like, genuinely made my day better. I’d been hunting for this one part for months, and they had it right there. Seriously, thank you for the help. ---

The new spot’s cleaner, but getting there from 58 is a disaster. If you’re coming from Portsmouth or up north toward Suffolk or Chesapeake, you’ve got to fight traffic to make a left onto 58—good luck with that. Won’t be back. ---

Scheduled a u-pull-it pickup through Peddle, but the Chesapeake location was a nightmare. Called four times the day of, and no one ever answered—just got sent to voicemail, which was full. My car sat there untouched. ---
