Over a decade buying and selling parts from yards everywhere, I still came up empty here. I spotted a 2011 F-150 silver door online for $250, complete with the listing photo and proof. When I dialed the number, the price jumped to $400 with no real explanation. The rep came across like they were doing me a favor and wouldn’t give a straight answer. For an old hand in the business, being treated like this felt off—not just the money, but the whole vibe. Ended up walking away and telling anyone I know to double check prices before they hand anything over. The ad is still on paper at $250; the phone quote was a straight $150 hike.

The second I walk in the door, they’re already on their feet ready to help. Joey treats customers right, and that’s what I come back for.

They sell bad parts, then refuse refunds like it’s nothing. Used to rough up local repair shops on bills too. Someone should drag these jokers into the light. Our neighbors deserve better than being taken for thousands.

These folks went above and beyond—even tracked down a rim elsewhere because they didn’t stock what we needed in the first place. Couldn’t ask for more effort.

Called yesterday to ask if a door was still there and they said it was. Hit the road for two and a half hours this morning, only to find out it was gone. I even checked before I left and whoever picked up at that point acted like it was no big deal. Richard and James usually handle the counter, so one of them must’ve been the one brushing me off. Why wouldn’t they update what’s actually on the shelf? The women who work there seemed fine, but Richard’s attitude is straight unacceptable. They don’t even say hi when you walk in. Made it before four and they wouldn’t close up shop until five. Grabbed another door panel just to salvage the trip, but I’m done shopping there. Find a yard where they actually care.

Took me a few hours to put my cluster back together, but once I plugged it in, everything worked. The guy who helped me was super nice, and the part came with a lifetime warranty. No complaints. ---

Malachi really went above and beyond—got my part ordered fast, and he actually called to confirm the details. If it comes in on time like he said, I’ll be back for more. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I called Lamar Auto Salvage a couple weeks back to check if they had a door I needed for my car. The guy on the phone said yes, it was there, and I paid over the phone for them to pull it and have it ready when I showed up. I specifically asked for the whole door—the frame, the glass, the mirror, everything—just like it was listed on their website. He confirmed it was all there, and I paid for it. When I got there, the door was pulled, but it was just the empty shell. No glass, no mirror, no latch, no window motor, nothing. Just the door frame and the inside panel. I went inside to talk to the woman at the counter, showed her my receipt, and told her what was missing. She said the best she could do was knock off $60. I asked if she could do more, but she said no. So I took the door anyway because at least the color matched what I needed for the repair. But here’s the thing—I was told I was getting a complete door, and I paid for it as one. Now I’m out another $200+ to buy all the parts that were supposed to be on it. The only good thing is they had the door ready when I got there and the color was right. But $600 later for a door I was supposed to get for $400? That’s not right. I’d still go back if I needed something fast and they had it, but they should’ve given me more of a refund for the missing parts. ---

The people here were actually really helpful. They had the parts I needed, knew exactly what I was talking about, and made the whole process easy. Made a frustrating job a lot less annoying.

Tried calling this place three times before someone finally picked up. Then I had to sit around for an hour and a half just waiting for them to pull the part I needed. Why can’t they just have it ready when you show up? I drove 45 minutes to get there, wasted half my day, and left empty-handed. Never going back. ---
