(2026) Do not waste your time here. I could’ve just ordered the part online and saved myself the headache. Saw they had the car I needed, so I drove out—twice—only to show up on the second day and find out they’d already moved it. No warning, no part, just a wasted trip. And don’t even get me started on the wash station—no soap, broken dispensers. I get it, soap costs money, but basic decency wouldn’t kill you. The parking lot looks like a dumping ground, like nobody’s swept or cleaned in months. Then, to top it all off, some employee refused to give me back my three bucks. Like, really? I’d already lost $150 in gas, time, and labor, and you’re arguing over three dollars? I could’ve bought the same part used for $80 online. Instead, I’m out hundreds, still don’t have what I need, and now my clothes are covered in oil and dirt from lying on their filthy floor. Just buy it elsewhere. ---

This place is a goldmine for OEM parts at decent prices. The workers actually know what they’re doing and always dig up something useful I wouldn’t have thought to look for. There’s a ton of variety—old cars, new cars, you name it—and plenty of space to park without circling for 20 minutes. Oh, and they’ve got this random fruit stand by the entrance selling fresh fruit trays, which is weirdly nice after crawling around in a junkyard. Plus, right in the same lot, there’s a tool sale, a glass shop, and a locksmith. It’s like a one-stop shop for whatever you need, and it actually works. ---

Went in for a part, and when I got to my car, there’s this extra charge for a "guarantee" I never agreed to. I march back in and tell the guy, *"Hey, nobody mentioned this to me."* He rolls his eyes like I’m bothering him and says, *"Talk to the supervisor."* So I do, and this supervisor acts like I’m some kind of nuisance, all *"What do you want now?"* like I’ve been harassing him for weeks. I just wanted my money back since I didn’t ask for the guarantee in the first place. While I’m standing there, some other guy’s yelling at him about pressing charges. Let’s just say I’m not sending anyone here unless they enjoy getting scammed. These people are shady.

So I went in to grab the parts I needed, and right as I’m about to check out, I realize I forgot to grab a battery. There’s this huge rack of them by the exit, so I ask how much one costs—$40. I was gonna just run to AutoZone or something, but then I thought, *do they even have the right size?* Turns out they do, so I figure, why not? But then I’m standing there trying to pick one out, and this guy—who I guess is *the* battery guy—tells me to pull my car around so he can match it up for me. Fine, whatever. So I do, and now the dude watching the exit, who clearly thinks he’s the manager, starts giving me grief about whether I paid the entrance fee. I had to dig out my receipt to prove it. Then, after all that, they don’t even have the right battery. This other guy—who’s suddenly acting like he’s in charge—tries pushing some cheap knockoff on me, saying, *"Just take this one and go."* No way. I didn’t ask for that. Then he starts questioning if I even paid for the battery in the first place. I had to show him the damn receipt *again*. At this point, I just want my money back, but he’s like, *"No refunds, you didn’t buy the warranty."* I didn’t *want* the warranty—I just wanted the right part! Now I’m stuck here an extra hour because of this nonsense. Unbelievable. ---

Total waste of time. The online photos? Those are from the day the car was dropped off. I went in for doors, and they were trashed—bent, rusted, useless. The employees don’t care, either. They move cars around like they’re playing bumper cars, and if something gets damaged in the process? Too bad. Nobody’s taking responsibility. ---

The woman at the counter was useless. I called ahead to make sure I could drop off my old car, and they said yes—just get there before 4:30. I showed up at 4:15, and she told me no, the yard was full. I drove all the way there because they said it was fine, and now I’m standing there like an idiot. Their customer service is a joke. I’m never coming back. ---

Do yourself a favor—look up your car on LKQ’s website first. It’ll tell you exactly where the part is and how much it costs before you even step inside. No guessing, no waiting at the counter. Just check the price online, show up, and go. ---

I wasn’t expecting much, but these guys actually came through. I was in a hurry, bought a bunch of parts, and had to make two trips to my car. Got distracted, left some stuff behind, and didn’t realize it until the next day. Figured it was gone for sure, but when I went back, they’d set it aside for me. Decent people—thanks for not making me feel like a jerk. ---

Tried selling my car to them, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. Their offer was insultingly low, and they kept pushing back my pickup date without warning. Then, the day they were supposed to come, they canceled last minute—claiming they called me, but I never got a call. I sat around waiting all day, and they never even bothered to reach out. Every time I called, the person on the phone sounded clueless. Ended up just donating the car to Kars 4 Kids because dealing with these guys was more trouble than it was worth. ---

This visit wasn’t terrible, but LKQ as a whole has gone downhill since they killed their rewards program overnight and jacked up prices everywhere. Lines were long, but that’s normal here. If you see something you want, grab it fast—cars get rotated out quicker in L.A. than other places. They had four checkout lines open, but it still took 20 minutes. And don’t forget the stock number—without it, they won’t let you buy anything. You can find it online, but you’ve gotta check the specific location’s site.
