Their sign says they open at 9 AM, but that’s a joke. They show up whenever they feel like it, and there’s always a long line of people waiting—like they’re doing it on purpose. The employees act like they own the place, giving you dirty looks if you even ask a question. It’s like they think you’re wasting their time just by being there. And don’t even get me started on the warranty scam—they just add it to your bill without asking. You have to fight to get it removed. Next time, I’m calling weights and measures to check if they’re even following the rules. Hopefully they’ll shape up, but I’m not holding my breath.

I tracked down my stolen truck here after weeks of searching. The first picture I posted was the last time I saw it before it got taken. The next three show how I found it—banged up and sitting in their lot. Still can’t believe it was just sitting there the whole time. ---

First time there, the guy at checkout was a jerk—overcharged me, grabbed the wrong stuff, and tried to rush me out. If you go, check your receipt *right* after paying or you’ll end up stuck with extra charges. And don’t let them push you around. *Edit:* Went back and got a different person at the window—a nice lady who fixed the mistake and gave me a refund. Not all of them are bad, just had one real bad experience. Still, I’m happier now that it got sorted. ---

This place is a mess. The yard looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years, and the cars are just tossed around, dented and scratched up worse than the photos show. My friend went to grab a few parts for me, and the cashier hit him with a 90-day warranty on everything—even a bumper and fender. Who needs a warranty on scrap metal? The guy didn’t even tell him the total upfront, just slid the receipt halfway under the window after he’d already paid. I tried to get the warranty fee back the next day, but Riverside refused. That’s an extra $120 I didn’t ask for, all because some employee decided to nickel-and-dime us. After all the bad experiences here, I’m done. Riverside’s the only yard in California that’s ever treated me right. ---

Went there on New Year’s Eve, and the guys working told us everything would be half off the next day. We were grabbing parts that added up to over $200, so we came back the following day to snag the discount. The app they’ve got is actually pretty handy—it lets you set up alerts when a car you’re tracking gets dropped off. You can search through all the Pick Your Parts listings for whatever you need, and it’s way easier than digging through random junkyards. ---

They fixed my windshield leak without replacing the whole thing. Wish it hadn’t cost so much, but honestly, prices are up everywhere. Other places were ready to charge me like it was already broken, just in case. These folks knew what they were doing, at least. ---

Found exactly what I needed here, and yeah, pulling parts off the car yourself is a pain—but honestly, it’s worth it. Picked up a used carbon fiber hood for my E46 GTR, clear coat a little rough, and they wanted $55 for it. That’s a no-brainer deal. Would come back in a heartbeat. ---

Admission just jumped to $5, and the parts prices? Tripled. Every location uses the same pricing, so don’t expect a break. One place wanted $456 for a cracked bumper cover, plus extra for the license plate holder, the busted fog light, and even the foam insert. Weekends are packed, and the lot’s huge—cars and trucks everywhere. There’s an extra section inside called PRIMO AUTO, but that’s another $2 on top of the $3 entry fee. Good luck finding parts still on the car when you get there—some are stripped down to nothing. People will wreck stuff just to get one part, like ripping out seats or smashing the windshield for a cigarette lighter. They’ve got a 90-day warranty, but if you don’t want it, tell them upfront or they’ll charge you anyway. Wheelbarrows and an engine hoist are there if you need to move heavy stuff. Porto-potties are out in the yard, and there’s food trucks in the parking lot. No more phone number sign-ups for discounts, either.
