Recent Reviews from Customers
Customer experiences at L&W Hilltop Scrap Metal vary. Some customers praise the quick service and fair pricing, while others report issues with policies and payment.
Ittybitty (5/5): "First time there, it was smooth and fast. The woman at the window was really nice. Second time, though, they were closed—probably because of some Arkansas weather mess. But when they are open, you’re in and out in under 15 minutes. Prices are better than the big cities like Fort Smith, and honest..."
Nancy Martinez (1/5): "We showed up to drop off cans like we always do, and halfway through unloading our big bags, they stopped us. Turns out, they only take cans in small gallon trash bags now—not the big ones we’d been using for years. It’s a stupid rule that wastes time and makes no sense. Wouldn’t bother going back"
Anna Vissering (5/5): "Quick, easy, and the staff actually seemed like they wanted to help. No hassle, no waiting around—just in and out."
Jeffory Spears (5/5): "Solid spot for scrap metal. No frills, but they take what you’ve got and pay fair. Better than some places that overcomplicate things."
Jake Tucker (1/5): "Got completely lowballed on scrap prices. Brought in 500 pounds of insulated 500 MCM copper, and they called it 'dirty' just to pay 20 cents a pound. Then 700 pounds of 750 MCM aluminum at six cents a pound. Worst scrap experience ever."

First time I stopped by it was quick and easy, the woman at the counter was really nice. When I came back the next time, they were shut down, which I’m guessing was because of the Arkansas weather. But just like the first visit, I still got in and out in under fifteen minutes. The prices aren’t as high as the big cities like Fort Smith, and since they’re closer it’s way more convenient when you’re in a hurry for cash.

But when they *are* open, you’re in and out in under 15 minutes. Prices are better than the big cities like Fort Smith, and honestly, who wants to drive that far for scrap anyway?

Got completely lowballed on scrap prices. Brought in 500 pounds of insulated 500 MCM copper, and they called it "dirty" just to pay 20 cents a pound. Then 700 pounds of 750 MCM aluminum at *six cents* a pound. Worst scrap experience ever. Called two other yards nearby, and they were offering copper at *seven times* the rate. Don’t waste your time here.
