Martin's Auto Salvage at 1255 McKenzie Rd, Montezuma, GA 31063
Martin's Auto Salvage is an auto salvage yard in Montezuma, Georgia. Customers can find used auto parts from donated or junked vehicles here. The yard operates on a "u-pull-it" model, meaning visitors browse the inventory themselves, locate parts, and remove them with their own tools.
This yard focuses on providing affordable alternatives to new parts for car repairs. Common vehicles like cars, trucks, and SUVs are well-stocked, and an interchange system helps customers find compatible parts across different makes and models.
Unlike some salvage yards that only sell parts, Martin's Auto Salvage lets customers enter the yard during operating hours to search for and remove parts on their own. This hands-on approach can save money compared to buying new parts or paying a mechanic.
Services & What to Expect
Here’s what customers can expect:
- Customers enter the yard during business hours and search for parts on their own. Tools are needed to remove parts from vehicles.
- Interchange system: The yard uses an interchange system to help customers find compatible parts across different vehicle makes and models. This is useful for older or less common vehicles where direct replacements may not be available.
- No professional disassembly: Martin's Auto Salvage does not offer part removal services.
- Warranty on parts: The yard offers some form of warranty or guarantee on parts sold, though the exact terms are not specified.
- Vehicle donation/removal: While Martin's Auto Salvage does not advertise buying junk cars, many salvage yards in the area accept donations. If you need to get rid of an old vehicle, check with the yard directly or visit our cash for junk cars page for local options.
The yard is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Customers should bring their own tools, vehicle information (VIN or year/make/model), and a way to transport parts.
