Services and what to expect at Quick Recovery Auto Salvage

Quick Recovery Auto Salvage sells parts from salvaged vehicles. The yard stocks engines, transmissions, body panels, interior components, tires, rims, and other parts from vehicles 1970 to 2026. Customers can browse the inventory on site and ask staff for help locating specific parts.

Visitors park in the free lot and walk the rows of dismantled vehicles to find what they need. Staff can help locate parts, check availability, and quote prices. If a part isn’t immediately visible, ask whether they have it in stock before you leave. Prices vary by part condition, demand, and vehicle model.

Bring a vehicle with a trailer or truck bed to haul larger parts. If you plan to pull parts yourself, ask when you call whether they allow self-service. Have your vehicle’s year, make, and model ready so staff can match you with compatible parts.

Alexis always goes above and beyond to help us out at Star Auto. The team up front—Tiffany and the others—are super nice and ready to assist. My crew and I really appreciate the great experience every time.

I swung by last Sunday and Ms. Marea nailed it. Her professionalism and how she treats customers is something else—I’m really impressed.

This place gave me the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I bought a car, finished paying it off last October, and still never got the title. Yeah, I should’ve checked in sooner, but when a car’s paid for, the title should just get sent automatically. When I finally called, they hit me with the line that they needed the last six digits of the VIN—like my name and account info wasn’t already in their system. I gave what I had anyway. The manager—Alexis, as far as I know—promised to look into it, then said she’d be gone for two hours. I never heard back. Next day I called again, just to be told she was out. I figured Good Friday was busy, so I didn’t call over the weekend or that Monday. Came Tuesday, almost a full week later, and all I got was a smart remark about “giving her courtesy” while they hunted for the title. They claimed it’d be sorted “today or tomorrow,” but when they finally called Wednesday, whoever answered wouldn’t even talk straight and was downright rude. After all that, I’m done spending a dime here. No matter how late I was on my end, they dropped the ball on basic service and follow-through. When a car’s paid off, the title shouldn’t be something customers have to hunt down or get treated like garbage over.

I drove two hours to pick up a car door, and after waiting in the parking lot for two and a half hours—way longer than the 30 minutes they’d promised—I finally went inside to use the bathroom. The woman at the front desk said she’d call me when it was ready. By 5:15, the only reason we got any help was because an employee came out to tell us they were closing. When my mom asked if they’d forgotten about me, the guy just shrugged and said, *"I guess."* Look, everyone else was friendly enough, but the communication here is a joke. Now I’ve wasted half my day on this. ---

The Spanish-speaking employee—someone from the Dominican Republic or maybe just a rich neighborhood—acted like she didn’t want to be there. She was short with me, almost rude, and honestly, it was weird because I’ve bought parts here for years without any issues. Never had a problem until now. ---

If you need service, ask for Alexis. She’s the real deal—knows her stuff, doesn’t make you feel like a nuisance, and actually treats you like a person. No attitude, no runaround, just good work. That’s all you want, right?

The selection is huge, and the customer service was actually decent—surprised me, honestly. Plenty of parts to pick from, and the staff made it easy. If you’re looking for something specific, this is a solid spot.

Don’t bother with this place. They messed up my order, sent the wrong part, and when I called to complain, they had the nerve to ask me to pay shipping to send it back. Absolute waste of time and money—avoid at all costs. ---

I found the exact tire and rim I needed for my Ford Fiesta—same size as the ones I’d been hunting down at other junkyards. But the real kicker? The price here was way better than what I’d seen elsewhere. Pull-a-part would’ve given me credit for my old rim toward the new one, but QRAS had the tire for just a few bucks more than a brand-new one. I didn’t want to wait for shipping, so I grabbed it here instead. ---
