Spent half an hour wandering around looking for a car they swore was in a certain row. Turns out their system’s so messed up even they can’t find anything. When I asked about returning a busted part, they wouldn’t budge—refund or credit, nothing. Other yards in Columbus let you bring stuff back, but not here. And fifty bucks for a compressor with unknown health? Nope, not worth the guesswork.

Plenty of choices, and the inventory fully refreshes every few months.

I found the part I needed in the yard, but the headache started at checkout. They had no idea how to ring up the blower motor I pulled—ended up charging me for a heater motor or something. I’m paying almost new part prices for something I had to dig out myself with my own tools (though they do rent tools, which is nice). Let me tell you about my latest trip to this junkyard—it was a whole mess. Then this short, bald guy—who was about to head back into the yard—stopped me. He said, *"I gotta check your bags. The way things are these days..."* and started digging through my purse. I told him, *"Hey, don’t touch my stuff,"* and started pulling things out of my wagon. He moved my toolbox and spotted my cluster underneath. *"I’m gonna need that part right there,"* he said. I was like, *"This? It’s from my car."* He hit me with *"There are signs saying not to bring parts in."* I shot back, *"This is my second time here, and I didn’t see any signs. Nobody told me that."* He took my part anyway, went behind the desk, and said to the lady, *"I’d believe her, but she was trying to hide it."* I lost it—*"I wasn’t hiding it! It was under my toolbox! Am I supposed to cover my tools while I’m working?"* He just said, *"I’m not gonna argue with you. It’s pointless."* I said, *"But you’re still talking…"* and he cut me off with, *"Take the part and don’t come back. We don’t tolerate stealing."* As I walked out, I muttered, *"I’m the only brown person getting a bag check here,"* and he started yelling something. I didn’t even stick around to find out what. As soon as I got home, I took pictures of my cluster and my car with the cluster missing—just to prove it was mine. I even dug up old photos from when I first bought my car, showing the cluster in the dash. Never had this kind of trouble at any other yard. It’s like they assumed I was stealing just because of how I look. ---

The prices here are solid, and the yard itself is all concrete—no mud or gravel to deal with. They’ve got cars up on stands that take up the whole width of the aisle, which makes it easy to check things out. That said, some of the cars are parked way too close together, and the aisles are a mess because people keep leaving junk in the middle. There’s no real organization by brand or anything, but if you’re looking for parts, you’ll probably find what you need. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done.
