Purchased an engine from a A-Rapid Auto that I was told was in perfect working order and was tested. This engine was taken directly from a wreaked car and in his possession for 3 years. Even though my check was cashed and cleared the same day(I have bank proof of this) it was given, Eddie (wrecking yard owner) said to my mechanic there was a 3 day hold. He extended that hold to over a week and did not release the engine until the following Monday, a full 10 days later. The engine was picked up by my mechanic and installed by him. Within a few hundred miles the engine began to knock. My mechanic inspected and believed it was a bad bearing. I had a second shop inspect and confirm what was wrong. The crank was badly damaged and attempted to be covered up by a new bearing install. When I told A-Rapid Auto the engine was damaged and wanted it repaired or replaced he refused to repair or replace and only agreed to refund. A-Rapid Auto would later refuse to refund my money claiming my mechanic voided the warranty by the way he returned my engine core. My mechanic went to A-Rapid Auto to rectify the situation and the Eddie would again agree to refund my money or contribute to the repair. Once I had the second shop confirm the extensive damage I asked A-Rapid Auto for a full refund. He would again agree and once again claim the warranty was voided because the engine was not taken apart and inspected before it was installed. Eddie has done nothing but look for excuses to void the warranty and not refund my money, after saying he would honor the warranty and refund. All repair shops contacted state they do not take apart an engine that is sold in working order before it is installed. I have proof of everything Eddie has said via texts. Not only did he sell me a defective engine but he also tried covering it up and is now refusing to refund me the thousands of dollars I paid for it. I have tried to return this engine to Eddie, he refuses to accept the return and has stated via text not bother trying. Would not recommend to my worst enemy, shady and unprofessional.

I bought a part from these people and it turned out I didn't need it. The co owner was very unprofessional did not want to give reciept. It turns out I didn't need the part and he was very rude to me and did not want to give me my money back. DO NOT go to these people they are rude and unfair anybody that buys a wrong part from a legitimate company should be able to get their money back. It did not have a no refund sign anywhere. His business will be reported!!!

Parts were as described and at very fair prices. They offer a 3 month warenty on engines and trannies which is pretty standard for the industry.

Nice people to deal with, Eddie worked hard to get me the parts I needed including moving a bunch of cars just to get access to the desired part. Prices were fair and parts as represented.
