This DIY approach allows customers to search for and extract parts themselves, which significantly reduces costs compared to full-service auto parts stores. The yard provides some basic equipment like tire machines and cherry pickers, but customers are expected to bring their own tools for removing parts.
The salvage yard also offers vehicle purchasing services for those looking to sell unwanted cars. They provide free towing and same-day pickup, making it convenient to get rid of junk vehicles while putting some cash in your pocket. This service operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
For those who want to check availability before visiting, ALL-N–1 has an online part locator tool that helps customers determine if the specific part they need is likely in stock. This feature helps save time and improves the shopping experience.
Customer reviews consistently highlight affordable pricing, clean facilities, and helpful staff who assist with locating specific parts. Their business model focuses on local pickup rather than shipping services, with no evidence of whole car sales – they purchase vehicles primarily for parts recycling.
If you need quality used fuel pumps or other critical auto parts, ALL-N–1 U Pull’s self-service model offers significant savings compared to buying new.
Vehicle Types Available
ALL-N–1 U Pull maintains a diverse inventory of vehicles for parts extraction. As a self-service junkyard, they stock a wide range of both domestic and foreign vehicles, though specific makes and models aren’t explicitly listed in their public information.
The yard’s online part locator tool suggests an organized categorization of vehicles, making it easier for customers to find compatible parts. This system allows filtering by part type and location, indicating a methodical approach to inventory management.
Customer reviews mention successful sourcing of various parts including tires, doors, and dash clusters, suggesting a broad selection of vehicle types and models. The self-service nature of the yard means customers can thoroughly inspect parts before purchase, ensuring compatibility with their specific vehicle needs.
Given the nature of U-Pull operations, the inventory likely includes a mix of older vehicles (10+ years) as well as some newer models, depending on inventory turnover. For customers seeking specific vehicle makes or models, using their online inventory tool or contacting the yard directly is recommended for the most current availability.
If you’re searching for a used car hood or other body parts, ALL-N–1’s inventory might have exactly what you need at a fraction of the cost of new parts.
Popular Auto Parts at ALL-N–1 U Pull
The most sought-after parts at ALL-N–1 U Pull reflect the typical demand at self-service salvage yards. These high-value items are often expensive when purchased new but can be found in good condition at a fraction of the cost.
Major Mechanical Parts
Engines and Transmissions: These are among the most valuable parts in any junkyard due to their high replacement cost when purchased new. A used engine or transmission can save customers hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
Alternators and Starters: These electrical parts are frequently replaced during a vehicle’s lifetime and are popular picks at ALL-N–1.
Body and Exterior Parts
Doors, Hoods, and Bumpers: Commonly needed for collision repairs, these body parts are significantly cheaper when sourced from a salvage yard.
Trim Pieces and Exterior Accessories: Items like mirrors, grilles, and moldings for cosmetic restoration are popular for those looking to restore a vehicle’s appearance.
Interior Components
Seats, Dashboards, and Interior Trim: Whether for repairs or customization projects, interior parts are in steady demand.
Suspension and Steering Parts
Control Arms, Shocks, and Struts: Critical for vehicle handling and stability, these suspension parts are frequently sought out by DIY mechanics.
Other Popular Parts
Radiators and Cooling System Parts: Essential for engine temperature regulation.
Wheels and Tires: Many customers look for matching sets in good condition.
Exhaust Components: Mufflers and catalytic converters are common replacements.
Glass Components: Windshields and side windows are frequently damaged and expensive when new.
These parts are popular because they represent the best value proposition for used parts – they’re expensive new, durable enough to reuse, and often available in good condition at salvage yards like ALL-N–1 U Pull.
Tools and Equipment Needed
Part Type
Tools Required
Engine/Transmission
Socket set (metric and standard), ratchet wrenches, breaker bar, jack and jack stands, penetrating oil
Interior Parts
Screwdrivers (flathead, Phillips, Torx), pry bar, adjustable pliers
Electrical Parts
Wire cutters, needle-nose pliers, utility knife
Body Panels
Rubber mallet, metal hammer, pry bar
General Use
Work gloves, flashlight/headlamp, plastic bags and markers (for organizing small parts)
When visiting ALL-N–1 U Pull, customers must bring their own tools, as the yard does not provide them. The specific tools required depend on the type of parts you’re planning to remove.
For engine or transmission removal, you’ll need a complete socket set with both metric and standard sizes, ratchet wrenches, a breaker bar for stubborn bolts, and jack stands for safety when working underneath vehicles. Penetrating oil like WD–40 is essential for dealing with rusty bolts, which are common in salvage yards.
If you’re removing interior parts such as seats, dashboards, or door panels, bring various screwdrivers (flathead, Phillips, and possibly Torx), a pry bar for removing panels without damage, and adjustable pliers for gripping clips or wiring.
For electrical parts like wiring harnesses or sensors, wire cutters, needle-nose pliers, and a utility knife are necessary tools. These will help you safely disconnect electrical connections without damaging the parts.
When removing body panels such as doors or fenders, bring a rubber mallet to avoid damaging panels, a metal hammer for stubborn parts, and a pry bar for separating panels.
For general use, work gloves protect your hands from cuts and chemicals, while a flashlight or headlamp is crucial for visibility in dark areas of vehicles. Plastic bags and markers help organize small parts like bolts and clips.
While ALL-N–1 doesn’t provide tools, they do offer wheelbarrows, carts, and dollies for transporting heavier parts like engines or transmissions around the yard and to your vehicle.
Key safety considerations include:
* Always use jack stands when working under vehicles
* Use penetrating oil on rusty bolts before attempting removal
* Wear proper safety equipment including gloves and eye protection
* Label and bag small parts to avoid losing them
For specialized jobs like major collision repairs, remember that finding a used car radiator or other complex parts may require additional specialized tools.
Cash for Junk Cars
ALL-N–1 U Pull actively purchases junk cars from the public, offering a convenient way to dispose of unwanted vehicles while putting money in your pocket. This service operates alongside their main auto parts business and provides several benefits:
Selling Process
Dedicated buying service: They have specific contact information for selling cars, including a phone number (816–912–1004) and email ([email protected]), with dedicated hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Cash payments: While not explicitly stated in their materials, customer reviews mention “great prices” and a streamlined process, suggesting cash transactions.
Vehicle condition flexibility: Though specific conditions aren’t listed, their focus on auto parts recycling suggests they accept vehicles in various conditions, including non-running cars.
Additional Features
Free towing: The facility advertises “free towing and same-day pick-up” for vehicle removal, making it convenient to sell cars that aren’t operational.
Paperwork assistance: Like other buyers in the industry, they likely handle title transfers and necessary documentation.
This service complements their parts business by providing a steady stream of vehicles for dismantling. For customers, it offers a convenient way to dispose of unwanted cars while recovering some value.
If you’re wondering whether to fix up your old vehicle or sell it, check out why you shouldn’t let your junk car rust away – you might be better off selling it to a yard like ALL-N–1 and using the cash toward a newer vehicle.

Key Exceptions
Tires/Wheels: Often have shorter warranties (e.g., 3 days)

For ALL-N–1 U Pull specifically, customers should contact the Kansas City location directly to confirm their warranty terms, as policies can vary significantly between different yards.

Interchange System
ALL-N–1 U Pull facilitates part compatibility primarily through its operational structure rather than a formal online interchange system. Here’s how they help customers find compatible parts:
Inventory and Self-Service Model
Large inventory: The yard houses a vast selection of foreign and domestic vehicles, enabling customers to search for parts across multiple makes and models.
U-Pull system: Customers physically locate and remove parts themselves, which inherently encourages cross-referencing compatible parts between vehicles.
Customer Assistance
Sales team support: Though not detailed in available information, the presence of dedicated sales contacts suggests staff may assist in identifying interchangeable parts based on customer needs.
No explicit online interchange tool: Unlike some competitors with digital databases, ALL-N–1’s approach appears to rely on in-person inventory browsing and staff guidance rather than automated cross-referencing systems.
Key Limitations
No advanced search tools: The facility does not advertise an online parts interchange feature, requiring customers to manually inspect vehicles for compatible parts.
Self-service focus: The emphasis is on hands-on part retrieval rather than streamlined compatibility matching.
In summary, ALL-N–1 supports part compatibility primarily through its extensive inventory and self-service model, with potential staff assistance, but lacks a dedicated online interchange system.

I have been coming to this yard for 3-4 years now and the staff is always so helpful and kind and their inventory flips pretty consistently. Prices are fantastic compared to other self service yard as well. The lot is mostly clear, clean, and easy to navigate (as much as a junk yard can be), thank you for being the best u-pull in the KC area!

The best U-pull in KC. I always go here to look for used parts before anywhere else. Nice people up front, always good pricing and not looking to nickel and dime you on every little thing. Lot is well organized and they take good pictures of the cars for the website. Have never had a bad experience here!

When you enter, there's a sign that says, ‘all refunds and exchanges require receipt.' I purchased an item, walked out to my car with it and realized it wasn't the right part. I went back in to get a refund, and the guy tells me no refunds; only store credit, unless you buy a warranty. Their policy is entirely misleading. I don't go often, but they rarely have anything of value when I'm there. I think their refund and return policy should be much more clear when you are purchasing. Don't go here unless you want to be screwed.

Used to love coming here, but the new staff are rude and not customer service oriented at all. Came in with a water pump for a 2000 Malibu for comparison and when I went to leave without finding a replacement but buying some other parts a rude woman followed me to the parking lot and demanded to check my bag (which they did not do on the way in). She dumped my bag in the cart and then accused me loudly and rudely of taking it even though another employee stated we had bought it the other day. She threw it in the trash and basically told us not to come back. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service recently which appears to be in great part due to the staff changes.
Update: found my receipt in my husband's car and according to it I feel they owe me $13.08 which is what I paid for the water pump the rude employee threw away after taking out of my personal property for no reason.
