Krista and the Alter Metal yard workers are professional and pleasant to work with. I've witnessed Krista have a call on the phone, talk to a colleague on her radio and address a customer at the window without missing a beat. The yard workers are very helpful, polite and prompt. I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes to get a fork lift or magnet to unload my truck. Great job Alter Metal!

Wow! I have not been to Alters for a couple of years and I was amazed to see the transformation. Everything is cleaned up and organized and the staff are new and energetic. Clearly they are under new and improved management. Well done!
The lady in the scale house is unfriendly and can't do 2 things at once. If she's on the phone she can't read the scale to keep things moving. I don't think she ever smiles. Also, prices are always average or just under everyone else. I will say I think the lady has been trying a little more to act like your not just some inconvenience to her perfect existence. She getting better.
Been doing business here for over a decade, Krista has always been extremely polite and helpful in the scale house, the yard staff they have currently seems far more friendly and helpful than they have had in the past which is a huge plus. I do wish they had the magnet operating more frequently like they used to, be prepared to unload by hand though typically they will help you do so.
Top notch facility, Krista & the staff are so helpful on getting me in & out of there very efficiently. Very professional! I highly recommend anyone to go to Alter's for their recycling needs.
