Bad Business!!!! Took in a vehicle that was registered and titled in the state of Florida under my name….scrapped/parted out the vehicle. I was not present nor did they have the Title or registration to prove the individual whom they took possession from was or wasn’t the owner. I contacted them only to find out that the vehicle had been scrapped over a year ago!!!! I needed documentation to prove to the state of florida and Insurance company that the vehicle was scrapped. Your employee, I believe the name was Blake…told me that the state of Alabama System was down and would contact me as soon as it was up and running. Several weeks passed and no word. My mother went by to retrieve the documentation ….she was told that their computers had been struck by lightning. He then offered to provide documentation for the vehicle…but that it would have todays date ( not the date over a year ago when they actually took the vehicle) due to their computers being struck by lightning. I asked him why would it not have the date of the transaction, if its in the State System. He stated ” because I’m gonna put it in today”. He then began to avoid my questions and gave the phone back to my mother and said “I’m not giving you anything….and walked off. IDK what kind of shady business this is…but it is illegal to take a vehicle and scrap it or part it out without having a title or registration to prove ownership. Its called GRAND THEFT AUTO…..so is this place a salvage yard or illegal CHOP SHOP!?!?!? I will be contacting my attorney so you all can get ready! Also, the only reason im giving 1 star is because there is no option for 0 stars!
