The oldest scam in the scrap yard handbook: get you in the door with good prices and then fork you over on the weight. I brought in 47 pounds of wire and only got paid for 29 pounds. I think they were mad at me cuz there was a couple grams (not pounds, GRAMS!) piece of copper colored steel in my copper. They weighed all my #1 copper as #2 also.
