Cheyenne Recycling has been in business for over 20 years and is a family owned and operated business. They are open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm.
Nice place. Super friendly people. Always willing to help me. My boys love going here! And the employees are super nice to them too. Will show them how a car of crushed and other cool stuff. My 13 y.o. and his friend thought it was the coolest thing ever.
I called ahead and was quoted a price for clean sheet aluminum, (40 cents/lb june 9, 2020) arrived and unloaded 67 pounds, went inside to collect and was given 20 cents/lb after it was unloaded and in their possession. all in all the trip out there and my effort hardly seemed worth the 12$ total I received. If they honored their quote then it would have been a better experience. Make sure you have your price negotiated before they take it. very unprofessional. the national average at this time for clean sheet scrap is 60 cents/lb. basically they “robbed me” for bringing them business. Best to look elsewhere in my opinion. shady to say the least…
They are not open at 9am Thursday with light snow don't come early morning. It's still locked up waiting over 30mins for them to open. They say there open at 9am then u should be open at 9am. They need to change there times.
These folks are the very best! Accurate, fast and friendly! THE place to take your non-ferrous metals! 5 stars all around and highly recommended!
Use to go here all the time.. I took in 90lbs of aluminum cans and was handed 16$ at 0.04 a pound.. ya I think I'll go to the other guy even tho he's farther away
