Horrible service. Set price for used RV. Claim no used items are negotiable in price. However, they admitted they don't test anything on them when used…..how do you set a valuation on sales price than? Rip-offs!
I have been dealing with JPauley at Colaw. I needed a receiver hitch assembly for my Winnebago Adventurer. Mine was damaged by the original owner. New ones are not available and I didn't want a “universal” My only option was to find a used one somewhere. It took months of sleuthing online when time allowed when I finally found Mr. Pauley at Colaw. He went out in the yard and found what I wanted and after exchanging emails and insuring it was correct because there are difference between hitches between a Ford or Workhorse chassis and for ones that are equipped with a spare tire, I told him I wanted it.
I wasn't quite ready for it at the time but eventually the time was right and they boxed it up and it came with all the parts I needed, particularly some spacers between the frame rail and hitch. I'm very happy with the service and communication.
I want to reiterate what a pleasure it was to find Colaw. I had contacted quite a few other dismantlers and they either didn't answer the phone, didn't call back, didn't have anything or were just plain flakes. After few times of that, you start getting discouraged at the prospects of success, so doing business with Mr. Pauley at Colaw was a great experience.
Just bought my 7th camper from Colaw. Had a great experience with Pete in sales. Was very informative, helpful, and not pushy which closed the deal. In addition when I went to pick it up Gates was very thorough in the walk through and set up of my new purchase. Have always used Colaw for parts but was my first time purchase of an RV. 5 Star!

Horrible, horrible. Mom bought a travel trailer on Wed, got it home after paying someone else to tow it to her house and it wouldn't fit where it was planned so she called on sat to see if she could trade for a smaller trailer that would fit. Was told nope, she signed the papers. They couldn't give her an estimated time as to when the title would be available so she could sell it. Their customer service is no good, the products are worse. Lemon all around with the experience. It's all her problem now since she signed the papera, no trying to rectify for issues
