Cozzi Recycling is a public metal recycling center based in Melrose Park, Illinois. Located at 2400 Main Street, it services the Chicagoland region as one of the area’s leading scrap metal dealers. Cozzi Recycling specializes in salvaging and repurposing car parts and other scrap metals from cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
Since its foundation, Cozzi Recycling has provided customers with quality used auto parts that they can trust. The collection center works to ensure each item meets their stringent quality standards before it can be sold to customers. Furthermore, the company recycles any scrap metals that remain so that they are put back into service instead of just being discarded as waste. This helps reduce Cozzi’s environmental footprint while also helping contribute to the green economy of the United States.
The employees at Cozzi understand how important it is to be able to trust your source when purchasing items like car parts or scrap metals, which is why they work hard to provide a reliable customer experience from start to finish. They have a team of knowledgeable and friendly staff who are always on hand to answer any questions you may have about their products or services. Additionally, each item purchased from them comes with an industry-standard warranty so you can buy with confidence knowing that your purchase is protected by Cozzi’s guarantee of satisfaction.
For those looking for a junkyard or used auto parts store in the area, Cozzi Recycling should certainly be at top of your list for consideration. Their commitment to providing customers with quality recycled items coupled with their dedication to recycling metals responsibly makes them a great choice when looking for used auto parts or scrap metal materials in the Chicago region.

Great service for this 1st time customer! From my contact with them by email to today when I sold my scrap to them they were very helpful and answered all my questions! Definitely recommend using them! Make sure you read up on sorting your scrap before you go as it can make you more money if you have some more valuable metals mixed in. I sorted out all the brass fittings I had and that paid quite a bit more per pound than the iron.

Today we dropped off some iron cast and metals etc in Melrose Park Cozzi facility.
I was surprised how nice the people are and how well organized and clean it is.
Thanks!

I love going to Cozzi Recycling in Melrose Park. Finding their entrance is difficult for some so here are the directions:
– From York Road in Elmhurst take St. Charles Road east and continue past 25th Street.
– When you reach 19th Street, turn left (heading north).
– Proceed north until you cross the rail road tracks and then turn left (heading west).
– Proceed down this street until it ends and Cozzi will be on your left.
– Drive right inside and pull right up to one of the yellow post markers (so your front bumper is even with the one of these yellow post markers, this is important!)
– Caution, you may get a flat while inside of the Cozzi Recycling building due to screws, nails, etc all over the ground inside the main building.

We deliver scrap equipment to Cozzi Recycling on a regular basis and they have been great to work with. Staff is friendly and accommodating and payment is quick and accurate. Location is perfect right off 290 to unload and go. We recommend all our customers setup an account with them.

If you don't mind your total being cut in half and then some go to cozzi. Never again and will tell everybody to stay away. Good luck with your chop shop operation
