Good price and timely service.
Excellent customer service and excellent communication! I will definitely be making my next parts purchase from Dumbleton.
I was looking for a seat module for my truck and saw that they sold used parts so I gave them a call. They didn't have the part in so they ordered it in and sent it to me. I didn't know for sure if this was going to fix my issue so I asked prior to purchasing what the return policy was. I was told that I can return but I would have to pay return shipping as well as I would not receive the shipping costs to ship it to me. I said that was fine and ordered the part. It arrived well packed and in a timely manner. I immediately put it in my truck and found out that it didn't fix the issue. I called back and was told that I would also have to also pay a 20% restocking fee which I was not told about when I asked the first time. I was a little frustrated but it was still worth returning so I asked to get the address to send it back to. I waited a couple days and I got no response so I called back and they had the wrong email which was fine and it was sent over again. I shipped the part back the same day I got the address. Once the part got there I waited 5 days for a response and I sent an email asking how the return was going. I got a callback and I was told that they had it and were going to issue a return for 75 which I had expected. I later got an email stating that they had issued a return for 65 which is not what I was told. I was at this point very frustrated. The lady ended up giving the 75. I would never work with them again unless you get everything in writing because they will change what they say on you. Be careful when working with these people.
I ordered an engine from this company through Part Cycle, and it arrived fairly quickly. I had a private licensed mechanic inspect the engine before putting it into my car, and although he did find some issues with it, I was assured a full refund, as long as I could send proof of the damage to the company. That process did take some time, because the company wanted to make sure that the damage was legitimate, but in the end, I was issued a full refund, and was not asked to ship the engine back. Engines are not cheap, and I really appreciated them working with me 🙂
