Bill and Andrew are very knowledgable and efficient. I have been bringing my car there for 15 years. They are quick and provide professional repairs at very affordable rates.
I never have any trouble getting an appointment and getting the work done quickly to get back on the road.
The owner and his son seem like nice guys but if you depend on your mower and can't afford to go weeks without it, this is not the shop to go to. I dropped off a push mower for repair and called a few days later to check up on it. The owner was annoyed with me saying he has plenty of repair work and wasn't going to be able to look at mine for a few more days. Three weeks later (summer is halfway over) he calls me with an estimate, roughly $120, I thought that was fair but it took another week to actually have the repair completed. I picked it up, again they were nice but seem to be the only game in town so they are swamped and have a don't care attitude ( which is weird). I used my lawn mower once ( was happy as hell to not have to pay someone to cut it for me) and it refused to start the next time. I called them up, the owner was annoyed with me saying I must have screwed something up. Anyway, he had it for another 2 weeks and gave me a scolding saying that he was doing me a favor for not charging me an additional repair cost. Had he repaired it correctly the first time this wouldn't have been an issue. He became very rude. A few weeks later the mower stopped again. I gave up and left it on the curb. Money wasted. If you need your lawn mower repaired effectively and in a timely manner, this is not the shop to go to. I don't care how many years he has been in business, bad service is bad service. Find another shop, spare yourselves the headache.
Been using East Road Motors for many years. I have had brake work, front end work, engine repair, tune ups and even tire replacements. Found them to be reasonably priced, very accommodating and very professional. Even started using them for generator repair. Will use them for many years to come.
Terrible dealing with them from beginning to end. Called asking for estimate and they said they had to pick up Tractot for a charge of 75.00, I agreed. Called to find out status two weeks later just to get a rude answer from bill saying he would get back to me and needs more time to look at it. Almost 2 months later bill tells me it has “incredible” work that needs to be done. I asked what incredible meant and he couldn't give a straight answer and that he would call me back. If course I had to call and follow up again, he gives me an estimate that costs more than the machine would to buy. I said please return tractor, then he tells me on top of pick up and delivery fee he has to charge for washing it without any consent from me. All I wanted was an honest estimate to from the start. He replies by telling me he's been in business for so many years! Then they return my tractor that turned on before they picked it up, dropped it off without a time given to me right in front of my garage door, couldn't get into my garage because can't move tractor. Beware, these guys have been in business way too long maybe that's where the arrogant dishonest service comes from!
