FIRST STATE TOWING is a full-service towing and recovery center located at 424 Old Airport Rd in New Castle, Delaware. Established in 2019, FIRST STATE TOWING provides reliable and timely assistance to those stuck in a roadside emergency or accident. Our fleet of trucks is equipped with the latest technology and safety equipment, allowing us to safely and quickly tow any size vehicle from small passenger cars to large commercial vehicles.
In addition to our tow services, we offer a wide range of services for car parts, junkyards, salvage yards, scrap metal dealers and used auto parts stores. We can provide removal services for your unwanted vehicle or project car as well as removal of old machinery and heavy equipment from construction sites. We also have experience with container movements and transport for businesses of all sizes.

First time ever having to get a vehicle out towing and every employee there was amazing. Extremely courteous, truck sat so long it need jumped… they jumped it for me let me start it and everything possible to ensure it was still in the same condition and ran just as it did when towed and that no parts were missing and even pumped up one of the tires that was flat. Extremely grateful for them to go out of they’re way to make me comfortable that all was well with the 94 pickup before paying a large 3k+ tow bill.

The only reason I give this place one star and not zero is because of the young woman who helped me with billing. Otherwise, my experience over the phone today was HORRIBLE. Absolutely ZERO customer service skills over something so simple that could have easily been addressed if the guy who answered the phone listened to me and what I needed instead of yelling at me out of frustration from the misinformation one of the other employees gave him. I don’t know if it was the owner or dispatcher but I was in disbelief of the level of unprofessional exemplified. One associate told me one thing and another associate told me another. When I asked why was he being unprofessional and presenting that information to me in such an aggressive manner, before I even got to express the service I needed, he said because I was trying to make things difficult and to stop asking the same question to everyone. He continued to yell and not allow me to clarify the situation, and then hung up on me before I had a chance to speak. I literally asked my question ONCE and the other person didn’t know the answer so they got this guy, the dispatcher or owner, on the line that came off aggressive from the start of the conversation. I didn’t know that asking a simple question about YOUR services was being difficult. I will never ever use this company again. They need training courses on basic human interaction. They haven’t even made it to the level of basic customer service, which they have none of. Lastly, I suggest for the locals to contract with another towing company and not force people to have to use this service if they don’t have to. Never again…
