Really? $100 for an 80’s tailgate with a busted handle? If I wanted to get screwed, I can think of much better places to spend that money.
If I were you, I wouldn’t buy the rest of the positive reviews. I’d bet my life on the fact that the posters never been to a real salvage yard in their lives.
I mean, do they even have a record of their inventory? The first time that I called and they couldn’t tell me whether whether they had something that would work, I just figured that I was speaking to someone particularly new or slow. But even after the second time I called and the exact same thing happened, I thought that it was still worth a trip to go down and look around. I mean, look at all those positive reviews!
But who knows. Maybe they only scalp you only on the tailgates. Perhaps that’s the reason that there’s so many random ones right next to the front door of the office.
In any case, I would recommend that you save your time and money and look elsewhere
