Visited on a Saturday morning. I didn't really know where to go, so I drove up the scale and the gentleman at the window asked what I had. I told him and he directed me where to go. There was a short wait for my turn. The employee helping me unload was super nice (despite the 25 degree temperature outside). I got my receipt, took it to the office and they paid me cash. Now that I've been there, I will definitely be going back.

I just returned from my first visit to this scrap yard. I was VERY disappointed with the service I received. The man at the scale was very rude to me. I got confused about where to go in the scrap yard (which may have been my mistake but he wasn't at all specific about where to go), and went back to the scale to ask again. When pulling back up on the scale he hung out of the window and motioned me to back off of it with an extremely condescending look on his face. I backed off and pulled up on the side of it. After waiting a couple minutes for him to come back to window I asked where again. He told me but definitely wasn't nice about it. I also asked if where on the ticket he had put “peddler” as the account if it should be the name of the company I represent. His words, “We'll worry about it when you're done. I have customers to help.” REALLY??? AM I NOT A CUSTOMER AT THIS POINT??? I almost said forget it and left, but just needed to get back to the office. His “customers” was ONE person that had pulled up to the scale after I had already backed off and was sitting on the side waiting for him. The man that met me to show me where to unload was very polite and helpful. I think he should be the one running the scale. I've done customer service for over 8 years can tell you right off the bat that you never tell a “customer” that you can't help them because you have “customers to help”. Especially when the person was there first!!! Will NEVER go back to that place. Only giving two stars because the guy that was polite and helpful when unloading or it would definitely be one.

My first time here. I Talked to Brandon on the phone 3 different times about cast aluminum prices and he was always courteous unfortunately the price dropped before I could get my 1700# in so I had to sell it local. I did however load up about 700# of copper and brass. I had 3 guys back there helping me since I didn't know the process or where to go. The guys in the nonferrous area were great with my questions. I appreciate it guys.
