I forgot to put my trash can out. The driver took it upon himself and grabbed my trash to be dumped. Couldn’t ask for better service. Greatly appreciated!

Today, I received the oddest email from Trish Parrack. I'm not clear on who she is, but she works for Howie's. She accuses me of disposing of a battery in my garbage. The only problem, my garbage hadn't been picked up and I didn't dispose of a battery in my garbage. I'm watching the driver from my front porch, extinguish the fire in the back of his truck. What's even crazier. The driver tells me, that he couldn't pick up my trash until the fire was extinguished. Ms.Parrack, before you think about correcting me…don't. Get your facts straight and talk to drivers instead of harassing customers. For several years, I used A-1 until the company started having major issues. A-1 was not reliable and their billing was questionable to me. I always received excellent customer service. I cannot say that about Howie's. There is definitely room for a lot of improvement.

I've worked with MANY different entities in different cities all over the US. Without a doubt, Howie's is the ABSOLUTE BEST I have EVER worked with. They have great customer service and are SUPER responsive. 15 bins hauled off in less than a week and never late, no incidents, always courteous and helpful. We received our weight tickets in a timely manner. Recommend without reservations.
