The Landfill offers a wonderful service to the people they serve. They will pick up and recycle items from your home for a small fee.
I have used this service multiple times and have always been pleased with the very helpful and friendly staff that answers the phone and promptness with which the items are picked up.

The lady working the desk was beyond rude. She immediately made us feel stupid for even being there, on top of scolding us for her accidental charge of the wrong account. Clearly the landfill needs a turn around with their employees because the attitudes of the current workers are absolutely not okay. Can’t even call and complain because the only ones working are the ones complaints are being made about. Do better. IC Landfill.

Absolute rudest lady at the front. Mumbling about how dirty I am and rediculous I am for not knowing I needed to tie my bags 1 inch tighter – mind you, I tied them tight as every person does. Tight but they never close the very end because the plastic string will rip off.
Then she mumbled some other stuff I couldn't hear. IF YOU'RE GOING TO INSULT YOUR CUSTOMER, DO IT LOUD ENOUGH TO ELICIT A RESPONSE, show your true colors lady.
Last thing, on my way out, maybe she needs to direct that rage at her own driver's…. I saw the Iowa city trash trucks dropping bags and giant steep structures on the drive to the dump and didn't even stop…

Guy working at scale was inconsiderate and rude. Think he needs to find a new job or he can throw his “authority” around

Slow moving, depending on the time of day. The fee isn't too bad for standard garbage.
