J & R Sanitation has been a fantastic company to work with. I had need of one of their roll off containers. It was brought on time, and was unloaded without any scratches to our driveway. Pick up was even easier. All companies are facing rough times through this pandemic. With J & R, there has not been a drop in service. Are they short-staffed sometimes? Most likely as everyone else is. Does equipment break down? I haven't seen or heard of the perfect machine that never breaks down.

Was trying to use local for first time but they were not interested in working with me to make a change to my roll off dumpster order. I admit that I under ordered the size but immediately when I found out less than 4 work hours later I called to see what could be done. Told them that I was happy to compensate for their drivers time and hassle but they went ahead and charged me the full price. Had to order a whole new dumpster from another company and pay for this one. The company from the next county over was twice the dumpster for almost the exact same price.
Pros: Office Lady was super nice!
Cons: Management isn't interested in repeat customer or good word of mouth.
DO NOT USE if possible!

Vinton trash collection. Picked up everyone's trash on my street. Came to mine at 11:21 AM. Hit the gas and took off down the street without picking up mine. I called, and called, 9 times I called. No one answers the phones or returns calls. Chased down their recycling guy. He basically told me too bad. But he would tell the office. Still 5 hours later no call. This has happened too many times in the past. Why am I paying for services that I am not getting???? Worthless, lazy, unresponsive, poor management… STAY AWAY!!!! BEWARE!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!

Moved to the area and have been trying to set up service for a month and still have not received any trash cans. I have so much garbage and have called and called and called, I called 11 times but got no answer. They really are a trash company.

They put the trash containers in the neighbors yard every time! I've asked them not to but no change. Poor work quality.
