Sent three steel loads to this scrapyard in August and have not received any reimbursement.
I emailed the company after I couldn’t get through the phone lines. The owner emailed me and said he would follow up the next day. That was on 9/12.
I am missing thousands of dollars of scrap and they won’t return my phone calls or cut me a check.
Next step is to get the courts involved.
I would stay away and find another yard that won’t literally steal from you.

Been there twice, once a year or so ago and today. First time was ok, had to argue bout the price a little to get it up, I guess it was fair, mainly for people with small loads and do not want to drive to mobile where all the scrape goes anyway. Larger loads it is much more rewarding to take that extra distance, to alter etc., much more profitable. I called a couple days ago for hours of operations, I looked on the web, I lined up my week for smooth sailing so to speak, and here I sit in there lot on 98 along with other trailers loaded and there closed, will not answer the phone, so how many peoples week did they mess up, I work all week and only haul on week ends, now my trailer that I need is sitting loaded, what a bummer. Should have went to alter in the beginning. BAD BAD BUSINESS no matter how nice people think or say they are. Never happen again.

Rarely open. If someone is there then the boss isn't. And they pay so little without disclosing the breakdown it's pretty obvious you are getting screwed. I'm never going back!

They are always closed and want you to come back the next day, regardless the weather. They always have to call the boss who is never there. However, they're always friendly in their rejection.
