Update: They advertised some great prices, so I gave them another try. The new people are even more dishonest than the old crew. Totally and blatantly tried to rip me off, so I took my material to CMC Recycling around the corner. If you do end up here, weigh all your stuff in advance and know your material grades very well. Always ask them what type of material and grade BEFORE they take it from you and ALWAYS check your ticket before they dump your materials. I was patient, polite, and professional, but they even resorted to threats when I said no thanks. I won't be back after this time, so you've been warned. Best of luck friends.
Update: The last two disappointing experiences have eclipsed my previous positive experiences and have me looking elsewhere again. Called and asked if they buy 400-series stainless steel. Got a yes over the phone and reasonable pricing info, but when I get there I was surprised that they only gave me the price for shred, “because this is magnetic.” 400 series stainless IS magnetic due to the alloy's composition. The time before that they downgraded my #1 wire to #2 wire despite getting #1 pricing for the same wire types previously. I don't bring in enough scrap to worry much about the money, but I also don't like feeling grimy about selling experience either. Dropping 2 stars, one for each bad experience.
Original Review: I gave every yard in the area at least one chance, but this is the one I keep coming back to. Prices are usually fair and it's one of only two yards that have great employees.

Today I dropped off 1300 pounds of steel. These jokers offered me $100. Not only that, the guy at the window acted like he was a mute. If you want to give your scrap away. Then these are the people you want. Thanks for reading. Q

No consideration for their “customers”. I came with 4 bare aluminum garage panels at 4:21pm and did not care how much I got per pound, just something. The older white male told me to come back in the morning. I called earlier and they said they CLOSE at 4:30pm. He said I could dump it there but I wanted to pay the guy that brought it. These are some crooks that will try to lie to you about prices of metal or just try to find a way to take your metal for free. This place is full of crooks with a bad agenda and I would NOT RECOMMEND! I went to another location (Wise Recyling on Brookshire) and they were very honest about prices and I got there, unloaded and sold with same prices as when I called with no issues.
