Great place to get scrap metal!! Highly recommend it to anyone. I buy steel plates and square tubing from them for fun/home fabrication. They let you go in and pick what you need, put it on a pallet, weigh it, pay, and go! Good people there, no stupid questions asked! Just be careful handling scrap metal, have your gloves on!!

I felt good about my visit to R&D recycling. I was carrying a pretty varies load On a good size trailer when I arrived. The barrels were generally sorted, But we had several different types of stuff. They sent me through the large scale first, removed one major type of metal, and then weighed to see how much was removed. After that they sent me through both again for one more type before having me go to the smaller scale for the rest of our barrels.
Everyone I dealt with personally was very helpful, and they did a good job helping me sort out what each barrel contained and being sure to get the appropriate value. If you have large recyclables to take care of, I think this is a great option for you.

If I could give 0 (ZERO) stars I would. Never in my life will I ever try to do business with this recycling center again. Who doesn't accept a passport or a carry permit as a form of ID? A passport is issued by the United States Department of State. In order to get a passport you have to present a birth certificate, valid Driver's License, & SS Card. GA law even states that you have to present a DL or a GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID! R&F would not accept my passport as a form of identification nor would they accept the person who was with me, State of GA Carry permit, which clearly has a hologram that says GOVERNMENT ISSUED! We were turned away because neither of us had our Driver's License BUT we both had Government issued ID's. We went out of our way to do business with this company just to be turned away. That was a slap on the face but it wont happen again.
