They are late picking up recycling in my neighborhood 15% of the time. With Waste Management's purchase or Ray's there should be – and is – plenty of money (read their 10k) to spend on decent salaries for employees.

Ray Shredding service is excellent!!! Prompt, friendly, cheaper than anyone else. As far as the trash cans throwing, etc. We never had that happen. Some of you should try hanging on the back of the truck at 10 degrees below 0 or over 90 plus degrees in the summer and smell rash all day. Better yet–put your trash in the back seat of your car and drive your trash to the dump yourself — LOL–Good work “Ray” people–you are the best-it's a dirty job someone has to do it. Glad you do. Your are appreciated!!!
We have been bring our business here for almost 5 years now, but no more. My husband went to recycle a old hvac package unit. When he got there they told him he would have to remove the compresser…okay no problem (hvac contractor, easy for him to do). So he pulled off, way off, to the side to get out of the way for others to come in (being polite) and took 5 mins to remove as instructed. Then a employee came out screaming and yelling at him for doing that. If what he did was wrong (which it was not) absolutely no need to yell at a customer. Just walk over and politely say whatever you need to. This was totally unprofessional and ridiculous. As a business owner, we would never do this, completely unacceptable.
If I could give a negative 5 I would. Their site says yeah for cash for escrap but you call and they say you pay them which is deceiving and lying to the public. So if you are driving a distance in hopes that their site is true and honest about what they do their then takes my advice and don't drive. You'll be sadly mistaken. When we confronted the last she started stuttering and said I can only go by my paperwork right here shady. Smh
Ray’s didn’t pick up our recycle bin but picked up others in neighborhood. Bin wasn’t overloaded. Sent a email and their stock answer was that they were a day behind due to the holiday and it would be picked up today. No kidding!! Really!!! We already knew of the delayed schedule but now it’s been two days. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that they would come today and that didn’t happen either. Not a good business model to throw stock answers around without digging further. Can’t believe we pay THEM to take our recycling.
