Went there on a beautiful day. The road is closed to thru traffic. I was not thru traffic. I entered the yard went on the scale, got the green light. Went to unload, just got my bungee's undone. A yard man whistled at me and told me I can't unload. I asked why and he didn't say. He said I had to check with the boss. I went to the office and waited like 10 minutes for the Boss. He said that because of the road work they were not accepting any scrap from “peddlers”. I will never go there again.

Very muddy yard so bring ur !
Also, there is a detour on the way here if using I-94 Exit 2: Indianapolis Rd.
Directions: keep to left on ramp and merge onto IN-152 Northbound (Indianapolis Rd.)
Follow 152 NB approx 4 miles…
Turn RIGHT onto E 312/Chicago Ave.
Turn RIGHT onto Railroad Ave.
Turn LEFT onto W. 151st Street.
Building is on right after you pass older brick warehouse. Follow signs for scale.

Great service. Not far from home and a good place to make a few bucks getting rid of all your metal scrap. They also take vehicle batteries, AC units, motors, aluminum , etc. Prices are up right now too!

Took Some aluminum, copper and brass and the employee was yelling at my 92 year old grandpa and getting overly mad cause things weren't separated perfectly for him and because my grandpa cannot hear good. Guy should get a different job.
