I’m came yesterday to bring some scrap metal at 4:30 pm and the place was closed early. I came this morning 30 minutes after opening. There was a man there and was trying to ask him if there open but told me to gtfoh. Terrible way to run a business. Rude and not punctual. Very disappointed.
Came here and brought some aluminum cans. The guy kept insisting we put water in them to make them heavier. He said cans are not this heavy. They were crushed and in a barrel with holes how I could add water to them is beyond me. They are drink cans they drip with soda or beer or whatever was in them. He wanted to take off half the weight first when I said no he went down to take 20 lbs off I said no he went down to 5lbs off. I won't come here again I don't need the hassle.
One of the better scrap yards I've been too. Quick, easy, and the workers don't make it difficult or hassle you. They're straightforward, knowledgeable, and usually honest – and by that I mean if they see a way that you're cheating yourself, they'll let you know. I don't think I've had a bad experience here, I like that it's really no nonsense, to the point, in and out. And they're not crazy busy so you're never rushed off and pushed through to where you're losing out on money because there's so many other customers that they don't care about anybody just worried about moving the line along.
One of the cleaner scrap yards. Don't worry as much about getting screws in tires. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
