We have been rebuilding vehicles for over 45 years. We live in rural Iowa and often travel for parts. We have purchased from hundreds of salvage yards over the years, but have never been served outside. This caught me off guard. I finished my purchase and was leaving the yard when a gentleman got my attention. He was soon met by another gentleman. They addressed me as owners. I have respect for them, as they heard my dislike for being served outside. They both came to my truck to explain the reason. While I don't agree, I respect they took the time to explain. Of course it's their business and can run it as they see fit. This is why I thank God, often, for allowing me to be born, raised and have the privilege to live in the ! We can agree to disagree, shake and continue to do business! Why can't our politicians seem to understand this simple way of life?

Avoid doing business with these jokers. Emily Yancey had a door shipped that was supposedly in mint condition to their Columbia location. She assured me numerous times on over the phone that she would refund me 100% if the door wasn't in the condition as stated on their site so I paid her/trusted her. Door arrived a few days later so I make the trip to go get it. Door was nowhere close to what they advertised as. The door looked like it had been dragged down a gravel road all beat to $#!t. so I refused it and left it at the Columbia store. I tried contacting Emily Yancey time and time again but got nowhere. Evidently Emily Yancey is never in the office now, nor did Emily Yancey ever reach out to me. It's been over a month now and I still see a credit charge. These people are crooks and liars (Emily Yancey in particular) no question. I wouldn't even try to buy a spark plug knowing what I know now from this place. Steer clear of Yancey's or they will get you as well.

I can't speak to the quality of parts or service at Yancy. What I can say is they hire some extremely careless & reckless people to drive their trucks. Taking blind curves on the wrong side of the road. Passing uphill on double yellow lines. Tailgating. Wandering all over the road. Driving at 80+ on two lane country roads with speed limits of 55 MPH. They deserve a mandatory remedial drivers' ed class at best. License revocation and termination would be more appropriate.

Unsafe work environment, does not care about employees, very sketchy lifts, and will not listen to your opinions on how to help better things for employees. So if you wanna job somewhere don't come here.
