I finally caved and went to this place after hearing about it for years, and wow, what a waste of time. The cars are stripped down to almost nothing—hardly any decent parts left on them. The selection is terrible, like they just throw whatever’s left out there. The parking lot’s a nightmare to navigate, and the prices? Way too high for what you’re getting. I actually enjoy visiting salvage yards, but this one? Not worth it. I’m not coming back. ---

If you’re military—veteran or active duty—you get in free. Everyone else pays $2. Prices for parts are listed online, so you know what you’re dealing with before you even show up. ---

I was really frustrated by how disorganized this place is. The cars aren’t even sorted by type—American, foreign, whatever—so you’re just left wandering around hoping to find what you need. I asked if they had an inventory, and the guy just said, “Go look around.” That’s not how this should work. I don’t have time to keep driving out here week after week just to *maybe* find a part. And honestly? It feels more like a scrapyard than a salvage yard. They crush cars so fast, they don’t even bother keeping track of what’s here. A week? That’s all a car lasts before it’s gone. And don’t even get me started on the mud—your boots will be caked in it. There’s a truck stop down the road if you need water, at least. ---

Needed a key tumbler for my 2002 Trailblazer’s driver door, so I hit up this salvage yard. They had a few trucks to pick from, and I found the part I needed. My friend pulled it off the wreck, and it fit perfectly in mine. It’s a standard salvage yard—tons of cars, lots of parts to dig through. There’s a $2 entry fee, but if you’re hunting for something specific, it’s worth checking out.

Entry’s $2 per person, and they take cash or card. The staff’s pretty decent. You’ve gotta bring your own tools, but they’ll check your bag before you go in. There are wheelbarrows if you need to haul stuff, and the ground’s all big gravel, so bring shoes that can handle it. Plenty of cars, trucks, and trailers to pick through, and the wheels near the entrance are in pretty good shape if you’re looking for those. Oh, and cell service is spotty out in the yard—don’t count on it. There’s a porta-potty by the entrance, at least. ---
