The yard also lets visitors browse and remove parts from salvaged vehicles. No appointment is needed, but bring your own tools and a way to haul parts.

Scrap Metal Recycling

  • Non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel)
  • Household items (aluminum cans, copper wire, brass fixtures, steel pipes)
  • Appliances and machinery
Prices depend on the metal type and condition. The yard follows safe disposal rules for hazardous materials.

Got in and out quick, which was nice—no waiting around. The staff was actually friendly, not just going through the motions. They even gave me some solid tips on how to sort my stuff better to get more money for it. Little things like that make a difference. ---

Dropped off a big pile of cans, and they weren’t all crushed up like some places make you do. Ended up with $87, which was decent for what I brought in. ---

The people here are the real deal—no attitude, just straight-up helpful. If you’ve got random scrap metal lying around, this is the spot to take it. No hassle, no nonsense. ---

Tried to lowball me on some converters I brought in. I’d already checked the scrap prices—three of them, one was worth $152 alone. They just snapped a couple pictures, didn’t even bother looking up the numbers, and told me all three were only worth $55. I’ve been doing this long enough to know when someone’s trying to pull a fast one. Don’t let them rip you off—it’s a total joke, and I’m not wasting my time here again. If they want repeat customers, they need to start playing it straight.

The prices seem fair, about what you’d get anywhere else. But the service? Not so much. The guy in front of me had been standing there for a while before I even got in line. I waited 15 minutes, and they still didn’t call me up—some dude who showed up after me got helped first. I only had about 10 pounds of aluminum, and after sitting there forever for what would’ve been like $3, I just walked out. If they’d just moved faster, I wouldn’t have minded waiting. They need to figure out a better system, because this is ridiculous. ---
