Dropped off a bunch of scrap metal and some old batteries. The whole thing was over fast—no hassle, no waiting around. Got what I needed and left. Simple as that. ---

Skip this place. They lowball you on *everything*, especially copper. All Metals downtown will pay way more for the same stuff. Even if you’ve got a truckload of scrap, these guys act like they’re doing you a favor just taking it. Not worth the hassle when you can get better money elsewhere. ---

Walked in with two catalytic converters from a car I’d just worked on, and the woman at the desk acted like I’d interrupted her nap. She barely looked up, gave me a half-hearted shrug, and sent me off to some guy—think his name was Paul—without so much as a word. Paul took one look at them and said they were probably aftermarket knockoffs, which, fine, maybe they were. But the way that front desk woman treated me? Uncalled for. No reason to make a customer feel like a nuisance just for showing up. ---

We’ve been coming here for years, and the crew’s always been solid. They’ll haul your stuff for you even when you offer to do it yourself. Never had a single bad interaction, and the trades we’ve gotten have always felt fair. No reason to go anywhere else. ---

If you’ve got aluminum, don’t waste your time unless it’s just soda cans—nothing else. They won’t take foil or pans, and when I asked if they’d at least dump the bags and pull out what they didn’t want, they flat-out refused. Said I’d have to sort through four bags myself before they’d even consider it. I told them I’d just take it to the city drop-off instead, and the guy just muttered, “Yeah, okay.” The city won’t take foil or pans either, but at least they’ll help you dump and sort the bags—saving you the hassle of standing there like an idiot for fifty cents. The real issue isn’t their policy; it’s the attitude. Like you’re some kind of burden for trying to recycle. Not worth the headache. Just take your cans to the city and save yourself the frustration.
