First time selling copper here, and let me tell you, I was lost. The layout’s weird if you don’t know where you’re going, but the lady in the office was actually really helpful. She walked me through it and made sure I didn’t screw anything up. ---

Picked up a radiator, compressor, and electric motor—knew the radiator alone was over 500 pounds. When I went to get paid, they only gave me for 350. Said they “forgot” to weigh the compressor and motor. Lesson learned: if you’re scrapping here, take pictures of your metal *before* you drop it off, especially copper and aluminum. They’ll find a way to short you if you don’t. ---

Called ahead for aluminum pricing, and they quoted me 60 cents. Dropped off clean, straight scrap, and they hit me with “junk/breakage” and paid 30. Kept my money, lied to my face, and now I’m out the hassle. Never going back—place is a total rip-off.

Honestly, the place is a mess—like, full-on mud pit. If you’re driving a roll-off or dump truck, no problem, but if you’re walking around? Bring boots and maybe some rain gear unless you want to end up looking like you lost a fight with a swamp. ---

Absolute scam artists. They tried to lowball me hard—gave me 35 cents for 0-gauge motor wire when it’s worth 95 cents as house wire. And don’t even get me started on the motor field coils: solid copper, worth $1.87, and they offered me 90 cents. The guy who weighed it in wouldn’t even look at me when I asked for my copper back. Wouldn’t return my calls after either. Stay far away. ---
