Honestly, Buds Iron & Metal is the best spot I’ve found to unload scrap. They don’t lowball you, and the guys there actually give a damn—no attitude, just straight-up good service. Same goes for Buds Salvage. Both places knocked it out of the park today. Five stars, no question. ---

I could’ve saved $10 just by driving two hours home to O’Reilly’s instead of getting screwed here. Paid $50 for an axle that’s $40 new, and then some clerk who didn’t know her own inventory charged me three different prices for the same part. Three. Like I’m supposed to believe that was an accident. Spent my whole day chasing down parts, only to get ripped off. If my truck wasn’t already half-broken, I wouldn’t have bothered coming here at all. ---

Bud’s family runs a tight ship—every single one of them is friendly, no matter how greasy you are when you walk in. Never had a bad experience with the staff, and if someone’s being a jerk? They handle it. Fast. Either the person shapes up or they’re gone. They pay top dollar for scrap, too, and you can tell they actually care about doing right by people.
