Every time I go to this junkyard, it’s like the guy thinks I’m trying to steal something. Took me 30 minutes just to climb into a Falcon and carefully take off the dash trim—unscrewed it, did it right, no shortcuts. Then I walked around a couple other Falcons looking for parts. Maybe I should’ve worn a jetpack to zip in and out in five minutes so he doesn’t get suspicious. And yeah, I get it—he’s had issues with people stealing. But that doesn’t mean you treat every customer like a thief. Respect is earned? So what, I’m supposed to put up with rudeness until he decides I’m trustworthy? That’s not how you run a business. I was polite, and I’ve never stolen a thing in my life. If he’s so worried about theft, maybe he should just shut the place down. Oh, and that line he uses—*"Hurry up and get those parts before it goes to the scraper!"*—yeah, I heard that four years ago. Just drove by today, and guess what? That white Falcon’s still sitting in the back. Still waiting to get crushed, I guess. ---

Look, Del Roy isn’t the type to waste your time with small talk, but once you get past that, he’s solid. He runs his yard the way he wants—scrap metal’s his main gig, but he lets people pull parts when it’s not in the way. And if you’re straight with him, he’ll be straight with you. I’ve been buying parts from him for over a decade, and I’ve never had a single problem. He’s got a few classic cars and hard-to-find pieces, and his prices are fair. That said, he’s had his share of people trying to lowball him or walk off with stuff, so he’s careful about who he lets in. Can’t blame him—if someone kept screwing me over, I’d be picky too. He’s a good guy, and I’ve never once felt like he was trying to screw me. There aren’t many pick-and-pull yards left, and the ones that are around won’t be for long. I respect him as a businessman and a friend, and if you’re looking for parts, he’s worth checking out. ---

This place doesn’t deserve a single star, but the site won’t let me go lower. The guy on the phone acted like I was wasting his time, like he’d rather be doing anything else. Don’t bother—it’s not worth your money or your patience.
