Decent scrap yard. Prices are fair, and you’re in and out quick. Cans go in the front, everything else around the side. Simple as that. ---

Walked in with a few grand’s worth of copper—bright and clean, all #1 grade—and the woman at the counter was already counting out close to $9,000 before I even said a word. When I pointed out they’d missed subtracting the existing copper already on the pallet, she froze. Then came the apologies, the phone call to the owner, and suddenly my rate per pound jumped. They even threw in a t-shirt and a couple hats, though I’m still waiting on that hug she promised. Honestly, I’ve been coming here for years because it’s fast, fair, and they always treat me right. The guys unloading never short me, and the lady at the window? Always polite. At this point, I’ll probably be hauling scrap here until I retire. ---

I just needed a little copper wire, but the guy at the counter acted like I’d asked for the crown jewels. When I asked if my passport would work as ID, he snapped *"NO!"* like I’d insulted his grandma. Didn’t even bother explaining why—just barked that it had to be a state ID. For a junkyard, they sure don’t act like they want your business.

Most of the staff here are solid, but there’s a couple who act like you’re wasting their time just by breathing. I get it, maybe they’ve had bad experiences, but that doesn’t mean they gotta be rude about it. Not naming names, but come on—no need for the attitude. Still, I’ll keep coming back because the rest of them make up for it.

My boss sends me here all the time, so I figured I’d drop off some stuff I picked up at a government auction—had receipts, photos, ID, the whole nine yards. Turns out, the woman working that day acted like I’d just robbed a bank. Wouldn’t even glance at my paperwork or the actual metal, just kept insisting I must’ve stolen it. Then she hit me with some nonsense about the owner needing to check if they even *buy* aluminum. After that mess, I’d tell anyone to steer clear—my company’s done here. Oh, and the owner’s reply about me not emailing pictures first? Total lie. Their website doesn’t say squat about that. ---

Absolute waste of time. Won’t step foot in there again, and I’ve told others to avoid it too. Had two empty battery cabinets—hazardous material stickers and all—but since there weren’t any actual batteries inside, they tossed out my whole load of aluminum. Unbelievable. ---
