The guy who answered the phone when I called was super helpful. Wish I’d asked his name so I could thank him properly, but he made the whole process easy. ---

Needed a specific part that every other junkyard either didn’t have or tried pushing me toward buying the whole engine. This place actually had it—and the owner didn’t overcharge me for it. Saved me a ton of hassle and money. I’ll be back next time I’m in a bind. ---

Hands down, the best help I’ve ever gotten at a salvage yard. Even when they didn’t have the part I needed, they still went out of their way to make it right. ---

Seriously, stop writing on people’s cars. Put up a decent sign or something—like the $12 HPD one that actually says “active driveway.” Right now, it’s just a chained-up mess, and people keep blocking it even though there’s plenty of room to get around. And don’t lie about parts being “new” when they’re clearly junk or refurbished. It’s lazy and obvious. A quick call to the DOB would’ve solved this. Also, your cars are parked all over the block, taking up every spot. And after I called you out for writing on my window, you clammed up while your coworker actually backed me up. Writing on someone else’s car is vandalism—if you wanted me towed, you would’ve done it. But you didn’t, because I wasn’t blocking anything. Next time, just call a tow if you’re that pressed. They’d bill *you* for wasting their time. ---

So far, so good—needed a transmission, and the price seemed fair. The guy I worked with was professional and didn’t waste my time. Installed it in my truck, and it runs like a dream. Only had 99,000 miles on it, and everything checks out. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. The owner’s trustworthy and follows through—what more do you need? Five stars, no question.
