I got ripped off for $369 by this place. The second I saw the ad, I called them, and they jumped on it—only to scam me. Real nice, targeting single moms like me. Disgusting. ---

Coleman’s Auto Salvage has been a Fairburn staple since I was a kid. My family’s been going there for years, and Mr. Coleman runs a straight-up, honest business. No nonsense, no games—just good, fair service.

I went in for a transmission for my daughter’s car, but the 30-day warranty they gave me was a joke. The second it expired, the thing started slipping again. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but $700—$300 for the part, $400 in labor—gone. My wife is furious at her brother for sending me here. ---

Worst experience ever. Pulled in looking for interior parts, and three guys just bolted into the yard when they saw me. Stood at the counter for eight minutes before someone even answered the phone—then they said, *"Oh, hello?"* I asked about parts, and they said, *"Can’t help you, gotta wait for so-and-so."* Waited another 15 minutes, then left. Signs everywhere say no one’s allowed in the lot, minimum $25 for parts, and no restrooms. Absolute dump. Don’t bother. ---

This salvage yard is actually clean and well-run compared to most. Parts are stored inside the garages, and they know exactly what they’ve got—unlike other places where you’re just guessing. Got a fair price on a rear axle, too. Decent spot. ---
