My girlfriend and I go here every time we’ve got scrap to sell. The people who work here are always friendly, and they never try to screw us over on the price. Honestly, there’s no reason to take your stuff anywhere else—just come here. ---

Drove in with a full trailer—pool parts, random metal junk, probably close to 400 pounds total. Guy at the counter took one look and said, "All tin," then lowballed me to $45 for the whole haul. But here’s the thing that really got me: they used the magnet to pull everything off my trailer, and *every single piece* stuck to it. Not one scrap stayed behind. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, but after that? Nope. Won’t be back if I can help it. ---

First time at Dean’s today, and I was already getting decent rates at another yard just down the road. But Dean’s gave me 90 cents more per pound for my #1 copper. Yeah, it’s a little farther, but that extra cash adds up fast. Worth the trip. ---

Don’t bother with this place. The sign says they’re open until 4, but good luck getting out by then—they close whenever they feel like it. The office staff is polite enough, but one guy in particular needs to retire if he’s gonna keep sending people home early. And the yard? A total mess. Tires get flattened just driving through. Skip it. ---

Finally found a scrap yard where the workers don’t act like they’d rather be anywhere else. These guys were actually friendly, helped me out, and the place wasn’t a death trap of loose metal like most yards. Got a fair price for my small load, and it’s easy to get in and out. I’ll be back.
