Dionisio Metal is solid. The staff knows what they’re doing, and everything runs smooth. No hassle, no waiting around—just quick and easy. If you’re looking for a scrap yard that actually works, this is the place. ---

I still can’t believe what I saw at this place. A guy with a disability—who wasn’t doing anything wrong—got harassed by the staff until the cops showed up. They basically strong-armed him into saying stuff that could get him in trouble. I’m not making this up, and I’m not trying to badmouth anyone for no reason. This is exactly what happened. If you’re okay with a business that treats people like that, go ahead and keep going there. They clearly don’t care what I think. ---

When I’ve got scrap metal piling up or find a free load on Craigslist, this is where I bring it. First-timers should pull onto the scale, stop in the middle, and wait for the green light. Once it flashes, drive off and turn left, following the road around to the right until you spot the workers. They’ll tell you where to back in. After unloading, head back to the scale for your empty weight—same deal, stop in the middle, wait for the light, then drive off. Park outside the gate across the street and walk into the building on the right. You’ll need an ID, and they’ll give you a ticket for payment. Take that to the kiosk, scan the barcode, and the cash comes out like an ATM. There’s a box for used tickets—use it, and don’t toss them on the ground. Never had an issue here, and the staff’s always been decent. I’ll keep coming back. ---

They told me I *had* to have a car to turn in scrap metal, but I only had a little—like 28 bucks’ worth of copper, brass, and car parts I’d saved up over four years. It wasn’t much, but not everyone has a car or even access to one. Walking in with cans only? That’s ridiculous. They acted like I was trying to dump a ton of stuff when I wasn’t. ---

I took in some aluminum cans and got 20 cents a pound, which was fine. But then I had to use the receipt like an ATM to get my money, and since it was my first time, I wasn’t sure what to do with it. Took me a second to figure it out, but once I did, it was straightforward.
