Eddie's Auto Parts Co is a self-service auto salvage yard at 3415 1/2 Murdoch Ave in Parkersburg, WV. Customers can browse and remove parts from a large selection of salvaged vehicles, mostly late-model cars, trucks, and vans. It’s a practical option for affordable auto repairs in the Mid-Ohio Valley. The 14-acre yard is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There are no weekend or holiday hours. While the business doesn’t have online reviews, it’s been operating for years and appears in multiple junkyard directories.

Services & What to Expect

Eddie’s is a self-service salvage yard, meaning customers find and remove their own parts. The yard stocks late-model vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, making it a go-to spot for budget-friendly auto parts. No professional disassembly is available—customers must locate and remove parts themselves.

What to Bring

  • A vehicle to haul parts (no storage or shipping is provided)
  • Basic tools (wrenches, sockets, pry bars) to remove parts
  • Cash or a card for payment (both are accepted)
  • ID (some parts may require proof of purchase or registration)

How Self-Service Works

Customers enter during business hours, search for parts, and remove them from the vehicles. Pricing depends on the part’s condition and the vehicle’s year, make, and model. There’s no online inventory, so customers must check parts in person. Payment is made at the on-site office before leaving.

What Parts Are Available?

The yard carries a variety of used auto parts, including:

  • Engines and transmissions
  • Body panels (doors, fenders, hoods, bumpers)
  • Interior parts (seats, dashboards, trim)
  • Suspension and drivetrain (control arms, axles, differentials)
  • Electrical components (starters, alternators, wiring)
  • Exhaust systems and mufflers

Inventory changes often, so call ahead at (304) 422-6486 to check for specific parts.

Called about a part, and the guy wanted almost $300 for something I could buy online for $100. No explanation, no discount, just a steep price. Not worth the hassle. ---

I can’t believe I’m even writing this, but I’m so pissed I have to get it out. Two weeks ago, I ordered silver door handles for my car, and when I went to pick them up, they handed me black ones instead. I took them anyway because my driver’s side door wouldn’t open, but I went back the next day to get the right ones. I told the guy I’d wait if they didn’t have them in stock, and he just lost it. Started yelling that my boyfriend sent me to deal with his problems—like, excuse me, this is *my* car. Then he called me a waste of his time, slammed his clipboard down, and when someone called him, he just snapped. I didn’t even ask for a refund—I just wanted to order the right parts or leave a note for when they came in. But he flipped out, screaming that I ordered black ones, then grabbed my receipt and circled “NO RETURNS” so hard he ripped it. I’m a 24-year-old woman who just wanted help, and this guy acted like I was the problem. He wasn’t just rude—he was *mean*, like it was his default setting. I don’t even know how his coworkers deal with him. I don’t usually pray, but I hope whatever’s eating at him gets better, because no one should treat people like that. ---

Mike was a lifesaver—got me exactly what I needed, fast and cheap. If you’ve got a car like mine and need rims, this is the place. Dude works hard, so throw him a smile if you can. Oh, and Shorty? Put my tire on in like five minutes. No nonsense, just got it done. ---

This guy behind the counter is a nightmare. Every time I walk in, he’s got an attitude like I’m wasting his time. I get it, bad days happen, but he’s just a jerk—no reason for it. Terrible service, and I don’t know how he keeps a job. ---

Y’all need to take a long look at how you talk to customers. I was warned not to come here, and now I see why. I needed something fast, not to be put on some “list” for days while you act annoyed I even showed up. The disrespect is unreal. If you’re this backed up, hire more people or stop acting like customers are inconveniencing you. Just… do better.
